 for all who need it today.

Lisa...great pictures, your boys are adorable. I think you were the last one in our group to surprise someone...so now everyone knows! :goodvibes

The Hills....I catch that show when I can on line because Scott can't stand it. Does the new season look good? I can't wait to see it.

Off to see a few more patients and then parent teacher conferences where we get to go over final plans for the cruise! :cool1: But I already know their homework for the most part.

I actually went with DU originally and forgot that I had sent a request through a different TA also. When they both came back, DU was a gty and the other TA had a room number. Also, the other TA came back early in the morning and DU was much later in the afternoon. I imagine DU had a lot more requests so it took them longer.

I wonder if DU asked for a bunch of GTY's then?

OH MY GOSH, I just realized something! Tyler asked me on the way to school how many more days and I told him 46. BUT NOW IT'S 45 FOR US since we're flying in the night before! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Leaving work in 15 min, so I'll catch up with everybody later!

I've been toying with door signs.

Do you think that this one would be festive enough:

I was also considering the following sign:

Oh Ian, you are SO droll!:rotfl2:

I got mine before the US folk on our Dec cruise thread, so it could be one of us over here.

Perhaps I was premature in my earlier response then. It would be fun if the person furthest away got their docs first - which would presumably be our Australian shipmates?

I think all the door signs are very cute. It is one of those items that I know I would not have the time to make. Even if someone made the graphic for the boys and I, I still have to find the actual magnet to apply it to. I am finding it harder to keep up with all the things going on as I prepare for this trip and keep up with the day to day.

You get magnetic paper at any office store or WalMart and just print it from the computer.

I'll be getting that IRS economic stimulus payment in May (or whatever it's called) and the amount will be MORE than what I'd make in 2 weeks, so that covers missing the time off work. :thumbsup2

I think we have different philosophies on saving and having money onhand for emergencies.

I learned my lessons early in life from my depression era parents and they have done well by me, but I know that many do not subscribe to this theory.

I know that not everyone agrees with this so I guess we just will say to each his own.

Hi

What a morning!!

I took my car to the garage because of failed mot last week over car door not opened. My neighbour fixed it yesterday. I expected that garage was looking at the door but no they took my car and told us come back for 2 pm.

I was with two kids and took the bus home, end up bus inpsection told me that my bus passes was out of the date. He took it away:scared1: Olivia fell and hurt her hands.

Look not good morning is it!!

Hope the day has turned around for you, Deborah!

No problem! I'm sure I got it from someone else.

That's the way it is in teaching. Almost any teacher is more than willing to share his/her ideas. It was one of the things I loved about the education field. I guess it's not that way in many other workplaces.

well I am bummed...I went shopping on my lunch and I am just plain fat. You guys will have to suffer seeing me stuffed into a bikini as that is all I have and I refuse to spend any more money on a swimsuit. I ended up not getting anything. I had to restrain myself from going to the kids dept and blowing my gift card.

V, I'm sorry you are feeling down. I totally get what you mean. I shop very rarely for myself, it's much more fun for the kids that for myself...

Nope...no food going out either At lease that's what they say, but I know people take home rum cakes and such. I wonder if they take it from the ship in carryons and then put it in their luggage after? Anybody know?

.

I was wondering if the fact that it's packaged makes a difference? Like you can't take some cookies wrapped in a napkin :lmao: but you can take a prepackaged item.:confused3

I know people say its overrated but John really wants to eat at Blue Bayou. Ok, off to downstairs to try and help someone reconcile.

I wholeheartly agree with him. The first time is wonderful, it's an exprience dinning in my mind :thumbsup2
