I have gotten a couple PM's from her. She is in charge of a couple days. Lisa

Good to know.

I know we have a lot of people who have had loss over the year, as well as those that have lost their spouses in recent years. I hope no one is hurt that I am posting this fund information; Tammy was very reluctant for me to do so. However, given the incredible close timing, I thought the act of giving may help her, as well as help each of us as we struggle with this thing called life. Anyway....to the point...

I've been PMing Tammy and after much reluctance on her part, she has agreed for me to post the fund information I found on my own through a google search. First, I'd like to quote a little bit about Tammy's DH - from her words and some others:

Nader was an avid golfer and sports fan, a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was known for his kind heart and great sense of humor. As the service manager for a very popular restaurant, he met many many people from all walks of life and he was friendly and always did the right thing to the best of his ability. He always visited every table and personally greeting every diner at the restaurant. He was remembered and respected by many. All of this impact, and they only moved to their town in June 2006. He was a humble man and never would have believed how much he was loved and how much he is missed. He was taken from this life while working late at his restaurant, supporting his wife and children.

A fund has been established called the Nader Bahmanziari Memorial Fund. The fund will benefit Tammy and her children, Chris & Layla. The address to send donations to is Pinnacle Bank, 1745 Memorial Blvd., Murfreesboro, Tenn., 37129.

As mentioned several times, Tammy was reluctant for me to post this, and wants to stress that she is not asking anyone to donate to this fund. It was with my encouragement she is allowing me to post this.

EDIT: I'm PMing the DIS moderator to make sure it is ok to have this posted. Marr, please wait to add to first page until I confirm this post is ok. Thanks, Lisa

Wow, that is really special. Thanks for doing that.

Thanks.
I've just PM'd our moderators as an afterthought came that perhaps there might be an issue with posting fund information. I hope we can leave it, but I guess at worse people can PM if it need be. I'll post the response.

Well that's it for me for tonight. Gotta get up and get to work in the morning for a busy day ahead. Thank goodness this is a 4 day weekend for me!!

Try to keep some of the chatter down as I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to check in during the day tomorrow. Yeah right, who am I kidding ....

Ok, I'm getting tired. It has been a tough week with our nanny sick. Thank goodness my parents are coming out tomorrow to pick up the kids from school. We never feel comfortable having the rent-a-nanny drive, so we leave our work to pick the kids up and drop them home or to their activity. Doesn't help that we have 3 birthday parties this week! Argg! Haven't gotten any presents yet. Not sure what to do....I guess I can run to Target first thing in the morning and grab some gift cards. I should just always have those around handy. I need a cruise!!!

Well I have put it on post TWO of this thread. Also my post funny how I planned that so I would have another post spot to put things. :)

Ok, how funny would it be if one night we ALL wore lime green formal dresses? Maybe not one of the formal nights...but just a random night. We would have the WHOLE ship talking!!!

Yes and that's why you had to tell me about photo bucket LOL LOL LOL I can taste my tears:laughing:

I think we got some fishes to bite...you reel in really slow and I'll hold the net :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Why are you laughing? This is my formal dress. You need to shut up since you haven't sent any pictures of yours.

Umm Nan what are you wearing? For that matter Steph what are you wearing? I am considering buying a bright bright pink dress myself but not sure if you guys would make fun of me LOL.:rolleyes1
