Karen, I live in the jelly belly uneducated country of Canada. We are lucky to get Jelly Bellys at very expensive candy shops. So what is this about freebies.

Pj

On the jelly belly website you can get free samples of jelly bellys sent you. Its random times of the day and just check when you remember to. DH and I did for a while living in FL. I don't see anything on the US website but the UK website is currently doing it. I wonder if they have a Canada site. They do so if you go to jellybelly.com select your country and search for i believe jelly belly free samples it will come up if its active. I hope it works for you. We use to print off the receipes to make different things, like blue berry muffins, etc. If you have time check it out.

Okay, so I thought I would go into the DCL site to see what came up. My shore excursions had been changed.

First, I was now booked on a Submarine in Aruba, which I know I NEVER would have signed up for. Then in Puerta Vallarta, my Outdoor Adventure with the zip line had disappeared. Totally gone. But, it wasn't full, so I booked again, but could not get a confirmation number. On the main "my cruise plans" it doesn't show up, but when I ask it to print a copy it shows up, so I printed that so I have proof! Got rid of the Submarine thing.

Anyway, everyone may want to look at their excursions again. I have to say this isn't the first time this has happened to me.
What is your time on the Outdoor Adventure? Ours is at 9:30am. We tried to go for an earlier time, but even though it looked open, it wouldn't let us complete the booking. I figured maybe there was only room for 1 person. We had no problem booking the 9:30am one though.

PJ have you ever read/seen a book called Watch it Made in the USA. I believe that is where found it also and taken several vacations around seeing something from that book. DH loves that stuff.

Evening all.

I think we will - I plan to use it as our "toy chest." Put toys in for the 2 year old, Pokemon cards (sound like there will be trading on board!), lanyards with pins, pirate stuff, etc. Are you?
Lisa

Not quite sure yet....Liam is at that age (9) where some 'cute' things fly and others do not....we shall see how the baggage sorts out

Digital Cameras......I have a 18-55 and a 75-300 compact zoom, plus an off camera flash....I would suggest you go to a camera store and have them mount all the lenses on your camera and see which one feels the best, since this will be your 'standard' lens.....you do not want one that is too heavy or does not feel right

i would highly recommend ColdFX for anyone.....I've been taking it for over a year now and I have had one very minor cold (I used to be the cold king!!!)

Love blue berry muffin! but then I like the popcorn JB.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time, nor the last. It's hard to believe that all of a sudden out of the blue a bunch of Palo's opened up and that the Outdoor Adventure opened back up and my excursion was gone but then I rebooked so I'm okay again. If I couldn't have fixed it, I would have called DCL.
Good thing you checked. Your reservation shouldn't have disappeared.

The Outdoor Adventure was indeed closed initially, but it has been open for a while. I booked our reservation at the the 75 day mark.

Just a thought - maybe they opened up more Palo for the 60 day mark.

Haven't seen that book, but love a show up here called How It's Made, it is on the Discovery Channel up here, but is on the Science Channel down there.

I also enjoy Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs, I was kind of a Tomboy, lol.

I know its discouraging to hear especially adults. We don't like it when its that. And my DH has no patience for rudeness. I am truely hoping the kids club will being doing special events with the kids in special non adult areas. Just like the book we got on the med for the kids with the activities and great information. That is what I am hoping for comes about. You can always come visit our balcony or my parents have room 6000, all the way in the front with a big window, its handicap room but I bet they will have an upfront and personal view. Look at ship, find deck 6, look all the way forward as you are looking forward the windows stop you think but keep looking foward then you see a "porthole" that's their window, almost looking directly onto the cm's pool. did you find it?

so did anyone ever say was it the first lock that is so tight and they lost a piece of the magic?

Thank you for your kind offer. I guess we will see how it goes. I am not going to worry about it, and go with the flow. After all, it is vacation.

John:

Wilson is reading it himself (started at the summer at age 7) he loves them. As to the theme I think it depends on the kid. Wilson can watch or read anything and be fine, Molly (at 10) is now getting to be a scaredy cat, so she shys away. We have exposed them the same.

Glad to see you here, missed ya

Maybe we can ask in bulk at guest services about the kids in club getting to see the canal??? Worth a try requesting it? :rolleyes1

Thanks Nan, and good ideas!

Hey everyone! We are back from Jackson Hole. The figure skating competition is over and it went really well. I have a very happy child. I need about 10 hours of sleep in row.

She is freaking out a little about not skating for 2 weeks on this cruise, her coach is going to give her some off ice stuff to work on, so hopefully it will not be too bad.

When the pictures come (I can't take pictures when she is skating, I forget what I am supposed to be doing and watch her instead. I have a whole video of the side of the ice skating rink) I will post some.

I know I have been gone a long time, I apologize, life just got in the way.

Kim

Ice stuff? What kind of ice stuff? Sounds interesting. Welcome back Kim!

Anyone like this one?? I am debating. I like it alot though.

I like it, but I don't think that counts.

Off to read HP.

I have noted that there are a lot of Johns in this bunch:rotfl2:

Plus one in every room:scared1:

on an other note Happy St. Patrick's Day
P. S. to our resident Aussies I see on my calender that it is Canberra Day????
fill us in here in the colonys

Hi there,

Canberra is the capital of Australia, created in 1913 into its own territory(not a state as the population is too small) called the Australian Capital Territory. This is a territory completely inside the state of New South Wales (the state where Sydney is the capital, on the east coast). Canberra is the seat of the Federal government, and Canberra Day is a public holiday in Canberra only celebrating its founding.

Many people say that Canberra is on holiday every day though, thanks to our politicians.......:)

PJ & Monica,

I have to share something with you. I was in the kitchen and glanced over at Mrs. Bennett and she was showing a photo of the two of you (OK me too) that we took in Boma in October.

It brought a smile to my face!
