Just noticed on the main board that Cinderella's Carousel is slated to be done for refurb/rehab while we are there. Got me to thinking about what else is going to be down during this trip in both WDW and DL. Here's the list so far:

WDW
Cinderella's Carousel (MK)- May 4 to May 24
Nine Dragons Restaurant (Epcot) - April 6 to Oct 30

DL
It's a Small World - Jan 22 to Nov 28
Disney Gallery - Aug 1, 2007 to Jan 4, 2009 (WOW) This includes balcony seating for Fantasmic

That's all that I can see for right now...

Holly, I got my jewelry today and everything looks great. :thumbsup2 Gals, Lia Sophia has some really pretty things right now. You should check it out before the cruise.

I was trying to read and catch up. I fell asleepwhile reading. The warm laptop on my lap.....lulls me to sleep. :lmao: :lmao:

Frank was very sick today and the doctor decided to send him back to the hospital. Don has him in the emergency room. They are thinking he may be in liver failure.

Sorry to hear about Frank Lisa... Do the best you can, and remember to save a few moments for "Lisa" time...

:rotfl: That reminded me of a scene from my childhood! My best friend and I used to stand on the side of the road and wait with excitement when we saw the snowplow coming, just to see if the snow it threw would knock us over!

Playing dangerously, Holly???

This reminds me of the book "Happiness is a Warm Puppy" with Lucy hugging Snoopy on the cover.

Woody

I love that book!!!

I'll have several pairs of Crocs in size 10, but none in Cotton Candy...

Well, if you get Cotton Candy (it really is a nice light pink color...) I'll share!!! :cutie:

What am I if I'm 1961 an inbetweener?

You are a Boomer....

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Baby boomer is a North American-English term to describe a person born between 1946 and 1965.[1][2] Following World War II, these countries experienced an unusual spike in birth rates, a phenomenon commonly known as the baby boom. The term is iconic and more properly capitalized as Baby Boomers.

We booked a room at the Hyatt in Aruba for our port day. http://aruba.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

It cost us plenty of points, but DH has accrued quit a few Hyatt points with all his travelling, so we're splurging. The Hyatt is right on the beach. Looks beautiful. This way we can spend plenty of time on the beach, but also use the pools, have a cool room to relax in, and use the Hyatt Regency Club (can you say free happy hour??).

I think someone had asked me to let them know about a day rate at the Hyatt. I can't remember who??? Anyway, the Hyatt said they do not have a day rate, but they said we could have an early check-in because they don't anticipate being very busy. I didn't check on the price as we're using points. Sorry.

:wave2: Everyone - just popping in - got totally sick on Saturday - think I got food poisoning from McD's. I would not wish this on anyone. I'm such a baby for stomach ailments. Finally went to urgentcare on Sunday and begged the doctor to yank out my stomach. Instead - he gave me some kind of GIH???? drink and anti-biotics and sent me home. Have spent most of the weekend in bed - and not feeling good about that. Oh well, hope everyone is doing well and one quick question - too tired to go back and look - got to get back to bed - but who is the person we need to notify if we want to go to the DL meet this Saturday? Was it Edna-mode?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

They have been out of pins since last November. New lanyards, but no more pins.

On the CC items it is only 1 per stateroom. There is also a new CC item. It is no longer the blue and white bag. However, if you have unrelated parties, can you still ask at Guest Services and it depends on who is there as to what kind of response you get. SO keep asking.

What is it? You can't leave us hanging with a comment like that!! ;)

That sounds awful - sounds like me after salmon at the Outback one time. Hope you feel better.

Yes, EdnaMode is the person to contact about the meet this weekend. I think it's Sunday though.

Just saw the Hyatt in Aruba featured on the travel channel as one of the top 10 resorts in the Caribbean! Good choice! We were planning on the Westin, as I like to get the points...also have the sub tour planned. Choices, choices! Lisa

DrHug took me to Office Depot and bought a camera for my birthday. :) We got Canon something....1000 I think. :confused3 Thanks for the $50 off tip that was posted here. :flower3:

You're welcome! Glad it helped.

I was thinking that that camera would be a good gift for my birthday too! BUT hubby started looking at the Canon S5 in the store. We ended up getting that one. (He is very much a Tim the Tool Man kinda guy!) My SIL has one and shot some really good video with it. I think my husband has been lusting after it since then! So we compromised... and he got the S5 and I get the old 720 :rotfl: AND a birthday present to be named later!

This is because of the Year of A Million Dreams. They completed and furnished Walt's Apartment (of which that balcony is a part) and people win a night's stay in the suite. :thumbsup2

DrHug has the Canon D40 (I think), this one is a point and shoot for me. Maybe we will have some photos with HIM in them now! :rotfl2:

I always thought the boomers went to 1960. I've always been told I was not a baby boomer... HMMM I'm a boomer. Wow, I belong to the Dis and the boomers :hippie:

Didn't you take pictures of them?

No, I'll bet someone did though. Good idea.
