Ok, so I had to go see my grandmother in the ICU last night. She fell off her front porch going after my cousins toddler. She caught him and he is ok but she hit her head and had to have 19 staples. She opened her eyes yesterday and is responsive and starting to breathe on her own. They said it she hadn't caught the baby he would not have survived. She aspirated in the ambulance. Everyone is trying to keep their sprirts up. They are trying to bring her off the sedation but she keeps trying to pull out her IVs. This happened Ths. night and I found out last night b/c my dad couldn't remember my phone number. My Uncle now has my number. I am going to the Augusta GA today at 4. Ok sorry that was so sad.

Hi everybody, having a nice time at WDW. The weather is perfect. We are staying at Boardwalk and the internet is just not working at all. They say too many people are here. That is just crazy. Pay 500 dollars for a room and it should have internet. That has presented a work issue. Oh well...

We are at MGM right now and the girls are in line at Tower of Terror. We spent the morning at Animal Kingdom. I think we are going to a water park tomorrow. I need some rest. It is fun to come with someone who has never been here before!

Hope everybody is okay. Hope I have not missed out on too much!

At Xmas they had Reindeer corn...

Headed off to bed. Migraine starting to come back. I had one so bad on Friday, it just popped up on my way to lunch that day, it was so severe I had to struggle to get home from work while I could still see. I managed to get it down to a dull throb for a couple days, but now it's starting to come back. Darned weather changes. It got up to 55 on Friday, then dropped back to the high 30s Saturday, now something else must be coming for my throbber to have started again. Goodnight all!

Oh Holly... Is there anything that will help? I can take Imitrex... i'd be sunk without it...

Is anyone not doing any "extras" - so no spa, no excursions? I am thinking about our budget and it seems just to go crazy when you add those things on...anyone walk away from a cruise with no bill at all? This one will be tough as our ship board credit doesn't even cover our tips for 6! I used points for our hyatt stay the night before, points for the hertz rent-a-car for ride home...need to pay for transport to the port, and might splurge on a limo...but then think I should just save the money and do a van. But then I really like a limo.

With the spa, I really wanted to try both the Rasul and the Spa Villa for couples. With the excursions, I wanted the kids to do the Dolphins and Sub ride. Argg...I think I would give up my spa so the kids can do the tours, but then I think do they really need those excursions? Being on the ship is going to be such a great vacation in itself.

I figure $100 per kid for souvenirs, knick-knacks, etc. $50 per kid arcade.

How does this compare to some of you guys (if you feel comfortable sharing)? Am I spending more, less, about the same? Having a big family really takes its toll on vacations...

We had a nice party tonight. Not too big, just right. Marr and the kids came too! Wilson and Dominic hit it off over a DS game of Mario Karts. The girls are old pals now...Jacinda thinks we talk too much, and Molly knows better (we do talk too much)

I caught up again and just had to comment on a few:

The leprechauns visited us this morning. Tyler was cracking up at the green toilet water. He said, "Mom, a leprechaun peed and forgot to flush! Eeeeeeew!"

We both wore green sparkly leprechaun hats and shamrock necklaces today. Fun!

The toilet water must have been from all the green beer! I hope you got a photo to share of the two of you in the hats!

Wish I could say I have a room, but we are still in the lifeboat. The way things are going, we will probably be there until port day! We will keep you posted if the earth moves and a room opens. Really am hoping that our Cat 8 porthole is upgraded to a Cat 6 Veranda so we can host too on the PC Varanda crawl!

I have finally gotten a Palo dinner reservation. Not on our anniversary, but we are good with the time and date. Thanks to all that posted ressies were available.

Great news, I love the food in Palo! I am passing on the dinner this time in Palo as it makes no sense to take the boys there for dinner (the chief/waiter might have a fit if my oldest tried to order a cheeseburger with fries). I did get a brunch booked for one sea day, to they should could try it this time. I might put my name in for a 1 person cancel on a sea day if the boys end up wanting to eat in the kids club. I could go to palo as a "food critic" and sit at a table of one!

One thing I noticed...for those of you still looking for mexico outfits, just wait until you get to port in Acap. The markets there have great outfits, we picked up 2 dresses for the girls for 10.00 total! They aren't super great quality but they will work for the party. Scott got a shirt there for 10.00 as well. Just a thought...one less to thing to remember to pack!

I think my mom could go without any extras at this point only because she has seen so much and she loves the time to knit. But I know I can't get away cheep as I love to see new things and experiance lots more. Besides, my bar tab will be big enough for me to have to take a 2nd out on the house!

house, my office, my fax, my extra line that DH uses in the office as his, that's only 4 the sad thing is that I don't have the office 3 ring in the house anymore. I'm just not in the mood to talk to my clients at home anymore...the house is under his name the rest are mine, my aunt always calls me on my office # too, on the weekends, I never answer that phone. ok, I don't answer that phone during the day. I hate the phone at work, I perfer email (trail of evidence)

Lots of your way. I hope the next few days show a lot of progress for your grandmother. That is such a horrible thing to happen to her but she did a wonderful thing by catching the small child.

Drive home was funny I detoured a little as part of our freeway was closed as they are redoing a small portion of it, no biggie. Jacinda wanted drive thru and Dom fell asleep and did not keep me company so I sang along with the radio for a bit.

Thanks for having us even though we came late and stayed way too late! Kids had great fun Jacinda says Molly is cool and Dominic asked if we could go to the "little guys" house again tomorrow. I asked him if he had fun and he said yes and said "the guy is good playing nintendo". I then spent a good five minutes in the car teaching Dominic to say Wilson. He asked the girl and the moms name too so I think he has it all down now.

Great pics of the Dis meet. I love getting to see everyone - it will make the time on the ship that much easier. I keep trying to match names to faces because I am HORRIBLE with remembering that. Just horrible. So these pics help me.

My crappy story of the day, is since my cruise vacation was OVER 10K I can't enjoy the benefit of the 0% interest for 6 months on the DISNEY VISA.

Note to self, now is the time to abandon ship on the DISNEY VISA. If they can't offer this incentives to customers that are spending significant money what is the point of using their card.

I've reach my level of disgust with this card and now will change my accounts to another bank to get other rewards/points.

On our last cruise taylor couldn't roam the ship unless she was with someone I knew and I had to know where she was going to be. The only time she could go floor to floor is if she was switching from 5th floor kids club to 2nd floor kids club.

Hey I need to hit the auction circuit! I like little things like that. I am an ebay junkie so I figure live auctions are even better LOL.

I think with the girls having a few buddies they know already onboard they should be good to go as far as doing stuff together and "roaming" the ship. Jacinda actually thinks it is cool Tiff can hang out with them so I am all set.
Remember some nights we can stay out late after the clubs are closed, the girls can just have a slumber party with Dom and Tiff in the room until the mommy fun is over!

Quick post. Don't know if everyone has their luggage already, but a certain "retailer" marked their Tumi down today.

Two bags regular price $1,170.

With his discount, someone walked out the door with two bags for $527.

That is a smokin' deal!!!! Basically two for the price of one.

Not positive but it looked like most the bags were roughly $200 off.

I am thinking about buying new bags, who had this sale going if you don't mind sharing?
