Dennis loved that he and Johnny talked plants at DL! :goodvibes

John is so in love with you both. We are hoping that motor home makes it here.

I was showing the girls pictures tonight.....Samantha said - THAT'S my DENNIS AND ANGIE!:rotfl:

ok guys, I am hot, we are all jumping in the pool.

I did tell John that this was our taste of island life with no air.

Hey, Quite a few spaces on the Eastbound...how about a reunion??

Wouldn't that be fun???? Too bad I can't afford it!:faint:

tired again. I paid bills for about an hour and now I want to go to bed. I have to get molly's make up and hair done, then her show is at 7:30 I hope I can stay awake for it. My sisters just came by and picked up their tickets, I decided to pass on dinner with them. I tell ya the best thing about this is the weight loss. So far....10 pounds down and holding.

Ooooo, I paid bills and balanced checkbooks today, too. Again I say, I can't afford it!:(

I found this preview of the show w/ Sukie-you see him for like 2 seconds....

Went ahead and put down a deposit for the 7nt western on 9/19/09 - to do a b2b w/ the 7nt eastern w/ Tortola. Not sure if I'll keep tat but wanted to lock in the price and room (cat 11 #6583 for both - the room right next door to where I just was for this cruise).
)

Thanks for posting that link! I saw Sukie! Looks like an interesting show.

Is that the same 2nd week that Kathe is doing?

The moving on ceremony was cute Samantha was not herself as she had just woken up. They had a big bag for each child - a mounted photo of them in a cap and gown, a book about her, things like that. Who knew Samantha's favorite food was potato salad and she loves me because on stay home days she can have Coke.

What a cute story!
It was martinis.::yes:: ...and they told us we had to drink them all! :rolleyes1

My bad! How could I forget????:goodvibes

we've never been - i like the thought of a cruise unless someone can convince me one island to go to. I hate moving and repacking etc.
I am not afraid to fly anymore. Afraid of the prices, but hey, as John says - we can make more!

I don't know if you remember, but last summer I did a 7 day cruise out of Waikiki. We had 4 stops (Kona, Hilo, Maui, and Kauai). We were overnight in Maui and Kauai. My friend and I used it as a way to dive 3 different islands. I'd like to do it again just to do sightseeing. Of course you just get a taste of each island, but no packing/unpacking, etc. The price was reasonable, too. It wasn't Disney, of course, but it was nice.

OH, YEAH! I ORDERED THAT TOO! YUCK! THE SO-CALLED WHITE CHOCOLATE ON THE CAKE WAS GELATINOUS AND GRAY! WHO CAN EAT GRAY FOOD?!!!

NO!!!! THE DREADED HAUNTED CAT4 IS BACK!!!!!

Will it be on WGN Channel 9? We get that here.

No, it would be Chicago channel 11, WTTW. It might just be a program that will be shown here and then make it's way around the country later, as some of the programs we see do.

:rotfl: ha ha!
I agree. My best friend spent several semesters as a rainbow warrier and her brother lives on Oahau (sp) - johnny wants to see plants, I want a beach.

kauai is my vote. it is very green. but honestly, the first time you need to see more than one island. pop us the dates when you decide we might just plan a trip too. one of Paul's best friends moved 3 years ago and we are owed some time in their guest room.

V-
I love hawaii...my dd and I used to that every year before these last 2 disney cruises. My favorite island is Kauai. So beautiful. Small with interesting waterfalls and climbing, beaches, caves etc. I miss it and hope to go back soon. We usually went at thanksgiving (my bday) and the weather is great and it's not that crowded, plus it's not considered the "holiday" season yet. If it's your first time, the main island is probably good for you. Oahu has alot to offer. Pineapple plantation, pearl harbor, north shore waves, a beautiful botanical garden and waterfall on north shore and of course waikiki (sp?) with it's beaches. That is the island disney is opening their dvc resort on. Just my humble opinion.

hey, same thoughts here. Paul and I had our do over honeymoon on Kauai it was great. We have also been to oahu, maui, and hawaii. Paul to molokia also. that friend that moved there was married to his college girl friend, that paul introduced him to in hawaii, were she is from.

Hi all,

Quick check in here to let everyone know that we have made it home safely with all of our luggage (but not all of our belongings).

Got in to Vancouver on Wednesday night. We were on the same flight as Frozen Mickey. Then Thursday we did the 8 hour trek and got in at about 8pm.

Had quite the shock when we got home. The grass was up to my thigh. When we left there was still ice on the ground.

Friday I had to go to work while Shannon and the girls settled in back at home. Good thing they were at home too. Shaelyn ended up getting a 24 hour virus and Shannon is still sniffling around with her sinuses going wonky (too many nights out at Rockin Bar D I'm guessing!! ;) ).

So today was the first day I had to try and deal with the lawn mess. Had to take the weed whacker to it first. Tomorrow I will try and tackle the back yard. But I really want to put my kayak in the water as it is gorgeous up here. It was warmer up here today than our first few days in LA!

As for luggage, we only had one minor mishap on the way home. Coming out to Florida, one of our suitcases blew a seem so we ended up using our "back up" bag right from the get go. But while on the ship we picked up one of those Disney Cruise Line tote bag thingies for the $20 they we were offering if you bought $60 worth of items. Well that suitcase didn't make the trip home from LA. Somehow Air Canada (Hawkaye are you happy now?) managed to melt a hole through the bottom into the main compartment of the bag and it melted a few things inside the luggage, thankfully nothing too important. Also something managed to chew up the outside compartment quite badly. We lost some socks and underwear through the hole that was created. Also a pair of my underwear looks like a cat was using it as a cat scratcher.

We have to take it in to Air Canada here next week and we will see what they will do about replacement. The clerk in Vancouver said they woudl try to repair it (yeah that ain't possible), or they will replace it with something equivalent - I am curious if they replace it with another DCL suitcase or some blank generic one.

Anyhow, need to go and refill my drink, and then probably hit the sack as I have a busy day of lawn mowing to do tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get the kayak out tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'll make sure to make a proper post tomorrow with some pics and all!

See ya folks!

Grease is over and I made it thru the whole show without hacking up a lung. Molly is off at the cast party. She was so happy. We walked to the car to load her stuff and she said "even though I wasn't in alot of scenes I really had fun". She told me today that she gets free dress for the last 2 weeks of school, yipee no stressing over laundry for me and she was excited to wear her Panama Canal sweatshirt. I'm so loving this age. She has such a happy outlook on everything. Tomorrow is her Court of Awards for scouts, then she is off to the offical cast party. Funny for her this is the best, never mind that cruise. It's all about school & fun times :cool1:

Wilson and Paul are at the track. Wilson has a cross-over race tomorrow. That means all the kids in his club go to a near by track to race. New track for Wil and he seems to be liking it. He got his engine back from the engine guru too. Hopefully it will kick him up a notch :thumbsup2

Bedtime for me. :cloud9:

Yep, it was very good. I wish I was that handy with the computer. All I can do is check email and dis....:lmao:

Thanks, Steph, for letting me know. I'm sorry, I don't think there's a picture of you or your daughter in it! I just had to go with what I had. I want to make some more of other parts of the trip. If you (or anyone) have pics you want me to include, post them. I used a few of other people's pictures in this.

Oh don't worry about it, I'm in the background of one of them and I'm fine there.
I think the only pictures with me and my daughter are at dinner or on shore excursions, she couldn't be bothered to be with me at other times. There were people who never even met her!

I just love the ending of 40 yo virgin...the age of aquarius...it's just makes me laugh and laugh

good night all...me, the dog and cat (who's very pissed that the dog is here) are going to bed.
