I read the entire description to her over the phone so she could see what he'll get to do. She thinks it sounds great too. She asked, "So how much do these things cost, maybe around $40?" I WISH!!!! She was quite shocked at the price. Will definitely need to send pictures to her.

Hey, how's it been???

Got one word to describe my last couple days.

STRESSFUL

I hope there is some relaxation time onboard to recover from the prep craziness.

I sure hope so...I was planning on 4 checked and one carry-on each but if we can finaggle (sp?) two carry-ons each, that makes life easier.

I remember Gaylean said many, many posts ago that nobody told her about the hidden costs of the trip. Now I understand and after dropping beaucoup bucks on new threads for both of us today. YIKES. Stupid outlets.

Don't know how you all do it, especially with "gremlins." My head is ready to explode and I'm just trying to keep it all straight for two of us.

Oh...you'll be happy to know we stocked up on "beverages" to pack...looking at some rum, vodka, crown, and some margarita thing

Yeah, outlets don't really save you money - afterall, you can't pass up something that appears to be on sale - even if you don't really need it! I'm going to check on the carryon thing - I hope I'm right!

Yes you can -- I carry a back pack that is my camera bag -- never had a problem carrying that and a carry on.

This is alcohol transport logistics...need to displace garments from checked bags to make room for the "goods." 2 carry-ons aids in my master plan.
