I've missed everything. Story of my life.

So what's to talk about? Did you get them? Did you hate them?

I called United and since I bought prior to Feb, the one bag rule doesn't apply to me. So I can take 12 pieces of luggage! And I think I will. Why the heck not? I'm never going to touch them as soon as I hand them to curbside at SFO. Just call me Star.

Do you own 12 bags? I guess you would have to. We never found them so can you bring them so we can share a puff!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

None taken. But you can imagine sitting in a movie theater and hearing "Bueller, Bueller..." In military a guy in a squad (row) behind me in formation had last name Farris. Jokers in charge thought it was a riot to call us both out all the time...

I must admit I am extremely impressed at the level of dedication...14hrs ago I left for work and now I see all the same folks still on and posting.

WOW!!!!!!!

Sorry, but that made me laugh out loud! That is an all time fav movie. Glad you guys are joining us.

Forgot to mention . . .

Yesterday morning (7:00 am) , before school, my brother's students held a prayer vigil for him at the flagpole in front of the school. There were about 40 students and staff there, and they asked me to lead them in a prayer (something I am not used to). It was very moving, and I also got to give them an update on him afterward.

These same students have also organized a blood drive for him at the local hospital. Two of his former students are taking my 86 year old father out to lunch today and are going to play 500 rummy with him this afternoon to keep him company.

For all those who sometimes think the current younger generation is hopeless, there is still plenty of hope. And yes, this is at an inner city, Public High School. These kids have been spectacular.

John....wonderful news on Manuel! And thank you for sharing....what wonderful experiences you have gone through during this very difficult time. It is nice to see that there are still hope for our younger generation and they do know the meaning of caring and compassion! Probably due to some wonderful lessons taught by your brother!

Explain again? I missed it. See a theme?

I'm sure you've seen American Pie. We were saying stuff like "This one time, on the magic, we wore wigs and did shots around the ship and made a sandwich and had a slumber party in Marr's room that we are now calling the deli and we are BFFs forever"

It's been awhile since I've seen it. Is that where the whole sandwich reference came from?

So, I must get off and live it!

Cleaning( ), try some clothes on( ), gym( ), lunch out(:yay: )

Marilyn, I know it's a little far but can you come to my house and do all this stuff too, especially the     part. I'll buy lunch.

:scared: Uh oh, here we go again. Everyone hold onto your computers as the pages roll through at about one page every 5min. Then watch everyone who joins later and wants to know how so many pages went by so fast :rotfl:

You guys are absolutely impossible to keep up with these days.

So just a drive by post to say my brother had a tracheotomy done yesterday to make him more comfortable with the vent. He is also now able to respond by shaking his head yes and no, but still a bit out of it due to the meds. It's going to take some time explaining everything that has happened to him in the last two weeks, but at least we have that opportunity now. He has really stabilized, so hopefully we can get him moving in the right direction before we leave him for two weeks.
Good news John! Every slight improvement is a step in the right direction. :thumbsup2

:lmao: you are a quick learner:lmao:

No that is a reference to how many posts we have. So I'm on top (the bread) and Nan is in the middle (the meat) and Bubba and Marilyn fight to be on the bottom (the other bread). And everyone else just joins in because of what a sandwich means in adult humor :rolleyes1

Is anyone else planning on doing :laundy: on board?

I will have to I'm afraid. Someone said 4am is a good time!

John, that is fantastic, thanks for posting.

End of the bee saga. ;) OK...here's what happened. I waited until it was very cold, later in the evening, after the sun went down, pulled my curtain back, put a glass over the bee, felt the glass vibrating with it's buzzing (VERY big bee--but not a bumblebee), slid the piece of paper under, the bee crawled on the glass, I took it outside the front door and dumped it out. :thumbsup2 All's well that ends well.

Well done!:thumbsup2

What's all this chitter chatter. I go to bed and come back to 15 pages! I have never done that to you guys, why would you do that to me :confused3

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Well, truth be known the only cleaning I managed to do was vacuuming!!!:lmao: Still need to dust.:rolleyes1

  Hmmm, here I thought you all were so nice and were going to start taking orders so that I wouldn't have to worry about sitting in the Terminal Building waiting to board and getting hungry.

I was all set to request a Ham and Cheese on Rye popcorn::

Don't worry, Nan and I will wake you up.

I have to get some stuff done today or Jon is going to take this trip without me!

I've eaten too much. Went to Pizza Hut for a lunch buffet and I don't know when to stop!!!

Funny thing - our Pizza Hut is not quite the same as yours. I was surprised about that.
