oh, yes, it helped Patrick a lot, but the residual startle reflex is still more pronouced than in most people.
Very interesting.I just googled and read a whole bunch about it, plus tons of other relative info.
I'm definitely up for doing it and can ask that the OT recommend it be a part of his IEP so the school would do it.Well the two of us agree then. It's not a cure it just helps a little.
Yeah, I think you're crazy, but not because of that.I'm sorry. I thought I brought this up to you another time. If you hadn't heard of it, you probably thought I was crazy! Or maybe you just think I'm crazy anyway!
I love Wilson's teachers too. I do things for them all year long (my latestGIANTS gift cards!!!) you can get them at Safeway. His English teacher loves the Giants and his Spanish teacher is a boo hiss Dodger fan. So The gift cards work well as they can go together (neither is married and they are friends).
Molly's teacher is a Dland/Jack fan, so when I went to dland I brought her back a Mickey sourdough loaf and yup, some of those wine in a box juice boxes, she loved them.
I'd rather have my efforts go just for the kids teachers this year, in years past we (that group of parents) make it great for the whole staff, we usually have a week long event, gifts every day, lunches etc, raffels (without buying tickets of course)
I think I'm just getting old and crabby
Did you know that May 16th is National Sea Monkey Day?
anyone have a camcorder that has minidvds? how do you play them?
Oh boy that makes our wedding anniversary extra special!
Joseph
Yes, or we will enlist the aid of the other pirates and commandeer the ship if we have to!!
AAARRRR!!

You read? I just randomly post and hope it makes sense! My stomach muscles hurt today from laughing so hard.
I'm stressed too. Just ate 4 of those DA** Girl Scout Cookies. But dang, they were good.
Ok, I am hopelessly behind in less than 24 hours.....![]()
I am starting to get a bit nervous...am I the last remaining person who doesn't show a UPS package delivery? At least when there were a few of you, I was feeling secure. Maybe we won't be joining you all on the ship in 17 days........
We are officially sold out of lanyards! If you have not ordered a lanyard from me and are new to the thread and still wanted to have one we can order directly from the company and pay individually. If you would like to do this please PM me and I will set you up and I would be happy to print you a badge.
Hi Kelly! I think we are on the lanyard list, we will try to make it to the DTD Dismeet, but are also considering doing the P&P because DD has been asking to go to MK instead of the cruise![]()
OK, I found us a Dismeet for the night before the cruise at DTD. This is the place we can also distribute the lanyards. Guest relations helped me to set up a meeting for 4:30pm at the Dockside Stage across from the World of Disney. Each person/family can pick up food from any location in DTD and bring it to the Dockside stage and we can eat, meet and greet. PM me if you'd like to come and tell me how many in your party. We'll have about 90 min. to visit with each other before they set up for a 6:30 performance. I will keep in touch with the management at DTD to find out what the performance will be and to let them know how many of us will be there. Here is the map. World of Disney is number 28 and the stage is near the number 42. We'll see how well you can read this on the post. Thanks, Kelly
Howdy there neighbour. Welcome to the POR/POFQ club!
We will also be at the MP&PP on the 9th so we won't be at the meet either. Just look for two little girls dressed up as Canadian Princesses (see pic below)and you'll find us!!
Mainly just sensory overload. We're still trying to figure out the whole sensory processing disorder. Like, if somebody accidentally brushes against him in line, to him it feels like that kid pushed or hit him. That's just one example though. It will take a long time to figure it all out and for him to realize that he senses things differently. Well, he knows things are different for him, but he's got a long road of therapy to figure out how and what to do with himself in certain situations.
Today was bad for a couple hours because there was a guest teacher for 2 hours while his teacher had a meeting. He can't handle change very well so they weren't mad at him because they understand that.
John DCL split our docs, I watched mine drive the other way as I drove into the condo. They will be delivered to my work tomorow.

omg - they just played the 911 tape of the woman who had the 8 foot gator in her kitchen....the 911 operator asked her if she could be mistaking it for an iguana!!!
If that had been me on the phone, I would have not been so nice. I think the average intellect knows the darn difference.
Sadly, he will be destroyed as is another one that wandered in a yard today that was 7 ft.
Gretchen just told me she is going to miss me while I am gone![]()

We do the same thing. It is fun because some people are from different countries and we will have a pot luck one day and a lot of them bring family recipes. On other days we order from Chilis or other places and a lot of the time they give us a huge discount or give it to us for free. Usually I take a collection and buy a really nice gift and I will do that for Ethan's teacher this year since I know most of the parents. Brooke's teacher is a different story. The parents all work and I don't know them.
Note to self: set aside $112.60 for pins I purchase on the ship!![]()
Sorry! Ill stop posting.............................NOT!!
