Finally looked through the docs we got today. Saw that we now have to be back onboard at 6pm at Aruba.

What time was it previously that they had us all coralling back to the ship?

Someone said 9:30 yesterday but I always thought it was 6:00 so maybe they changed it a long time ago and they are just warning us again.

What do you drink? It doesn't matter because I drink it all but I was just wondering.
She drinks it all...beer, wine, margaritas, martinis, anything that gives a buzz and for her that's like only two (2) of whatever.

in order to prep for our trip, brian ordered me the shampoo and conditioner they they hand out onboard. so between smelling good and drinking pineapple martinis, we are set! can't wait! can't wait! can't wait!

I wanted to do that but never did. How is your hair? Mine is thick and frizzy. I'm going to bring conditioner because I am worried.

i like a little bit of everything. i'm not hard to please. brian just told me that i'm not allowed to get the glasses that they walk around with and hand out once you board. i got sucked into that our first cruise. Yikes!!! $$$$

haha that is not a public list. :)
I just know I have met some really great people and I have met a couple I have very different views then they do about things. I have figured this out through all the fluff and chatter and PMs sent back and forth. :rotfl:
That's what makes the world go round. Everone has their favorites and I'll never tell mine!

I read that somewhere.

duh....

type it like this:

I'm glad we are getting on board soon you need alot of help :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I want to be free from this computer for two weeks. Can you imagine all the jokes after the cruise is over?

i absolutely looooove it! my hair is thick and curly too. they need to make the samples in the bathroom just a tad bit larger. i go through conditioner like it's my job!

not to be a snot, but...same thing happened last year, sorry we are friends and like to chat. If anyone else wants to make another room please feel free...

ya know Marilyn, we have heard that people say that all along over the past ~ 18 months. It isn't reasonable to believe that we a group of friends that should be quiet after we have developed such a friendship. We do say hello, ALWAYS and answer all questions. I'm not being snide in saying if this thread is too fast for some, then make another one. I'm sure that those of us who talk to each other everyday all day will just stay here. People communicate at different levels, and it isn't reasonable to expect that we should be quiet or that EVERYONE should post and talk here all day long. Ok, I'm done with these comments on this round you all known my feelings on the topic. For those who don't see this side of the coin, I hope we can agree to disagree on this topic and remain friendly

I think I am just one of those people who likes everybody to be happy, so when I read what Linda wrote it did make me sad that people felt so strongly about it as to want to pm someone and sort of complain. Of course I realise that folk are different in wanting to join a thread or not. Some people just like to read and glean all the info without taking part, some like to chat and get to know each other etc etc, but I will always try and answer a question even though I have only been on one cruise before. I will google if needs be.

I do know how hard it is to scan through the vast amount of posts as I have from around 5pm Eastern when I go to bed till when I log on again around 3am Eastern to catch up on. That was always a busy time even before the chats started.

So, I wouldn't really want different threads.

Gaylean,
No need to stop talking because of new people I sure as hell won't! I liken it to people showing up really late to a party, they walk in and don't know who to talk to or where to go. Doesn't mean you gotta change the theme of the party for them. I like the new people who post and say hi I am so and so and jump in. If they are flat out too scared to post we can't help them with anything.

So if you are new (and lurking) and just now looking for info on your cruise that is in two weeks POST! You have tons to catch up on and no time like the present to start. :thumbsup2

This thread has helped me get to know people who will be cruising with me and I like it. I now know who I will get along with best and whom I might just avoid on the ship. That would not have happened if this thread was all business and no play. I know we all have our little cliques day/night East/West sandwich eaters/Vegetarians so be it I like the thread and they will have to drag me away......

Now a bunch of people might not read this since I posted it but maybe someone else will respond thus reposting it under their name and trick others into reading it.

I didn't take it that way at all.

Yes, we have been chatty and fast moving from the very beginning, but as of late there is an entirely different feel to the thread. It is essentially a chat room at night. (day too now!)

I don't care one way or the other, as a long time poster it doesn't bother me, if I was new however it would seem more like a club to me.

Now, however instead of skipping over the night time chatter it will be the day time chatter too, and I have a feeling that since it's been mentioned it will now be even moreso, kind of like your parents when they tell you not to do something!;)

Well two martinis and I'm feeling REALLY good. You know the saying "One martini is perfect, two is too many and after three you need another one"

I will not be buying that then. I think most of us are bringing some on.
