I had a hell of an afternoon! My dd called at 3pm to said she was in carpool line to get dgs and her car would not start. So I left to go pick them up just to get there and someone had jumped her car off and they were just leaving. Not having any gas in my car I stopped by the gas station. I pulled up to 1 pump and it had tape over the credit card slot so I moved to another. Got out and did credit card and filled up. Then I left and went to my dd house. My dh calls me all upset because the police have called him and said that someone driving my car had not paid for the gas and was my car stolen. I left and went and paid to find out that the credit card reader had been acting up and had not read my card. I'm imagining being handcuffed and carried to jail! The manager was very nice and said he understood. This was at 4:30 and the manager has not called the police yet. I have had 2 more calls from the police. They said they would call the store. That's all I need is to have cops at my door at 3am and handcuffing me!

kelly we know you don't want pictures posted and you have been honest and polite in telling us, also you haven't made me(or anyone else) feel bad about posting ours. It's nice when friends can agree and disagree and still be close and cordial

I have two soccer games in the morning and then we have the meet. Is anyone doing Disneyland after the meet tomorrow? Tim might have to work now so we will see if he comes.

We're just going to the meet. We don't have passes right now but Ryan is going to DL on Sunday for his best friend's birthday, lucky kid!

on my last cruise we had a lady who talked to us on the boards and told us all kinds of things about her life but would not tell us her name and did not meet any of us on board or participate in anything because of the weird people on the internet - we all went around guessing who it might be based on things people were saying or from some of the descriptions about her or her child we had in our heads.

That must have been weird...probably left you wondering if it was a "real" person! I wonder how often that happens (that people are engaged and active on the DIS board and then disappear, ON board)....
