What is the difference between a solid verhandah and a navigators verandah?????

So a solid verhandah has a "porch" but you cannot see the ocean????

A solid verandah is a solid metal wall under the railing that you can't see through versus plexiglass and metal rods that you can see through..A navigators verandah also has solid metal above the railing, with a large open porthole...

Morning all,

This is a continuation of my rant against Air Canada....

I just checked my flight again and noticed that thay switched aircraft for the last part of our journey home. It is only an hour flight from Toronto to Ottawa. I verified our seats and noticed that we had been shifted to the middle three seats in a 2-3-2 row.....not bad

Then I noticed that there was a gap in front of us and a gap behind....not bad I thought...more legroom, and I rationalized it by thinking we are between the two emergency exits....ahhhhh legroom

This morning I wanted to check something else and sinc I did not have my aeroplan number, I could not open my reservation, so I looked at the flight and looked at the seats available....ours was not shown at all...just this huge gap....what's going on???

I then checked the layout of the plane and noticed that the gap is the planes galley...soooooo we are slotted in the walkway....

I guess i will be changing my seats tonight when I get home....

what is going on here....am I cursed or what

Amesmom - it's PlutosMom here in Ankeny. HI!!! I'm guessing we were (originally) on the same Continental flight out of LAX and when checking our flights (about a month ago) we found they'd bumped us to the 8am flight - and hadn't bothered to tell us !!!! With you on the hour + to get it resolved - geesh. Had to get a refund from Continental and booked with United out of SNA (John Wayne Airport). Then Continential didn't release our credit card refund for weeks, so more checking up!! Anyway, glad to hear you're good to go now!! Lacy

What's up with not telling us about the flight change? Yikes. Anyway, all worked out now. We're flying down on May 9 on Northwest. When are you going?

Thats MY house! Havent you seen the pictures? And speaking of pictures, I WILL BE TAKING PICTURES at the meet on Sat. So if you have a problem with that, be prepared to duck! Many of our fellow cruisemates ask for and ENJOY seeing pictures of these events that they are unable to attend. I know of one person who "doesnt do" photos and I will make sure I stay on the other side of the room from them!

Just a side note, if pictures are posted on our website, it is hosted on my idisk which is pw protected and the site itself is pw protected.

ARUBA.....our non DCL excursion got cancelled, so time to re-think that day's activities. Air-conditioned motorcoach, or open air jeep? OR the DCL version of snorkel? Decisions.....decisions....

He has settled in very well to his first class accomodations, has ordered room service and wants to know why there isn't a castle outside of his window...YET!!!

He's already begun his hijinks... and it will be put into another Planky TR... (I'll post some pictures and the link to his last TR...)

So... lets see what kind of fun we can have with him!!!

First, Someone posted, I think in the last part, some over the counter recommendations for Holly's migraines. I would appreciate it if they would post them again. I can only take Excedrin for them right now but am looking for something else that might work since my doctor doesn't like me on Excedrin.

Second, John1, , prayers and pixie dust for you , your brother and family. It sounds like he is really a special person. With that much love here on earth God will only take him if he has a much greater need for him.

Third, For those of you that were going to make your own fish extenders but haven't been able to yet. If you need one I can make them up to the week before the cruise. We will mail them until the 28th and then after that we can take them on board the ship with us. Just PM me and I will send you the particulars.

While I think actions like those in the story are appauling, I'm not going to limit the enjoyment that I get and share with my friends posting my kids pictures here. I'm not a person that shrinks away from things out of fear. I think we should pursue those who comit the crimes not feel like we are in jail ourselves. JMHO, I know it isn't the same for everyone, but it is a feeling that many of us do share here and we in turn enjoy sharing and seeing each others kiddos.

Never had cognac, but have been told this particular tekillya is similar. Very smooth, slight sweetness, very little burn at the finish. Will you try a sip? I'll try a puff on a stoggie if you try a sip!
