I've got a sad mission at dinner time, we are taking dinner to the family of one of our elders at church tonight. He passed away last week. He is one of the men in my life that has always been a constant. It was a strange feeling when I learned he passed. He was just a bit younger than my parents so I never figured he would go so soon. Sometimes people that touch your life as a child stay in that age in your mind. Prays for Browning Smith, who will forever be in his 40's in my mind.

That is sad Nan. It will be a hard visit for you, but a lovely gesture to help at this time.

Our old computer was dying and all the new ones came with Vista....soooo I upgraded (downgraded) my laptop to Vista as well....and believe it or not...Vista does not uninstall well

How much camera gear do I wish cart around with me? I still shoot film......I have a digital but do not like it and do not print the pics....so, if this is a trip of the lifetime, I need to take my camera - yes?

Ahhh just take it all. Then you can't say "I wish I would have brought ..." That's what I am doing.

That's why I have started to get mine custom ordered. No more purchasing from big box retailers. My "newest" machine (2 yrs old now I beleive) was custom made for me by Discovery Computers and I have not had 1 problem with it since I got it. And it is a lovely LARGE tower case so I can go in and get my ands dirty inside it. Unlike these tiny compacts that you can hardly move around inside!
