The first of March is late to get snow on the valley floor in Portland! It will not stick I am sure, but still LATE April! We usually just get snow a couple of times in January and February. Of course up on Mt Hood they get later snow, but now down here.

Somebody somehwere is getting the better/good weather we all should be having.

It was 81 degrees here on Monday. Then it got really windy because a storm was coming in. By Tuesday morning it was raining and by Tuesday evening it was snowing. Woke up Wed. a.m. to 3 inches of snow at my house. Then it snowed again last night.

I still have snow in my yard and on my roof. They say it is suppose to warm up again this weekend.

I AM SICK OF THE SNOW!!!

I was thinking when I thought only Starboard verandah's were smoking ones that we could all do room swaps!!!

Hey speaking of all of these conversations, do you guys remember candy cigarettes. Those were cool.

I saw some last week. I loved them. We used to feel so cool pretending. Now they really would be frowned on.

Black magic sounds like a drink or an illegal drug!

They used to be my favourite chocolates.

I just recently had some candy cigarettes. We have a great candy store near us which sells a lot of the old fashioned penny candy. Of course it isn't a penny anymore! If this OG can remember I will try to bring some penny candy to the OG meet.

We have a couple of shops that sell all the old sweets(as we call candies). It can be very tempting!!!

This is what I did yesterday! I am holding a Burmese Python!

I had a hell of an afternoon! My dd called at 3pm to said she was in carpool line to get dgs and her car would not start. So I left to go pick them up just to get there and someone had jumped her car off and they were just leaving. Not having any gas in my car I stopped by the gas station. I pulled up to 1 pump and it had tape over the credit card slot so I moved to another. Got out and did credit card and filled up. Then I left and went to my dd house. My dh calls me all upset because the police have called him and said that someone driving my car had not paid for the gas and was my car stolen. I left and went and paid to find out that the credit card reader had been acting up and had not read my card. I'm imagining being handcuffed and carried to jail! The manager was very nice and said he understood. This was at 4:30 and the manager has not called the police yet. I have had 2 more calls from the police. They said they would call the store. That's all I need is to have cops at my door at 3am and handcuffing me!

Gydell, that is one bad day.

Thanks Gaylean, me and John both......it's not easy, but it's not impossible. There's still a part of it that I do miss, though.....I have to be honest. And there's a great deal that I don't miss about it too.

I would bring you some candy cigarettes but they might not help!!

I feel so sad for you. I know EXACTLY how you are feeling and that knot that you get in your stomach is just miserable.

I had a terrible day at my job today and I cried....(all by myself in the bathroom. I normally work only at home, but I had so meany meetings today I had to go to the office.

It was terrible....I feel miserable right now.

Is it worth working somewhere/with people that makes you so upset Lisa? Life is too short.
