Cruise Question......

Braids....Has anyone thought about this yet?! Both my DD's will want their hair braided and they will want to keep it in for at least a few days back at school. I have gotten it done at CC in the past, but that would be 2 weeks already that their hair would be braided. I can't decide if I get it done 2x, once on CC and once in Cabo or just once at the end of the cruise. It is so hard to take those suckers out....but they are pricey, so I want to make the best of it. Any ideas?!

You can get it done in Mexico and it will probably be cheaper. They will still be OK when they get home. We got Brooke's done for about $20.00 and they did the entire hair. Then they would have a different hair style for the formal nights. You are right about it being hard to get out. I know I wouldn't want to do it. Plus it ruined the ends a little and I don't want her to have to get a hair cut on the cruise.

We have had for a while, and will have, lower than the normal temperatures for the next four days at least. Plus it is grey and showery!

I am fed up with UK weather!

We have had for a while, and will have, lower than the normal temperatures for the next four days at least. Plus it is grey and showery!

Ok... ALL guesses aside... my SPECIAL Guest for this cruise has finally arrived!!!!!

Some of you thought it would be the Tag Fairy...(but I bet he or she isn't this cute or starred in his very own TR's!!!!! ​

He is a celebrity in his own right here on the boards... has a dedicated following

AND they wanted him on the EB voyage too...

but I got him FIRST!!!! ​

For anyone who is a big fan of Brenda's (oybolshoi) Trip reports and if you haven't read them...then you are missing out BIG TIME!!! You should recognize him right away... (and for the few on this trip who already know... SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! at least until I post his picture... )

I'm going to need some help with this!!! I am going to be doing a TR featuring JUST him!!!! I have some ideas already but I am open to just about anything... Brenda said I am allowed to handle him anyway I see fit... JUST DON'T DROWN HIM!!!

(and I'm gonna leave you hanging until he and WE get back from dinner!!!)

It is hot here and I was trying not to turn the air on but no luck today!. Tea sounds good but a cold glass of champagne sounds better. To bad I don't have any, well not any that I would drink on a Thursday afternoon, by myself!

Yes, on the valley floor not just in the mountains!! I'm sick of it! We have to drive my mom to Tri-Cities on Sunday. We are NOT looking forward to driving the Columbia River Gorge both ways in bad weather.

The first of March is late to get snow on the valley floor in Portland! It will not stick I am sure, but still LATE April! We usually just get snow a couple of times in January and February. Of course up on Mt Hood they get later snow, but now down here.

It was 81 degrees here on Monday. Then it got really windy because a storm was coming in. By Tuesday morning it was raining and by Tuesday evening it was snowing. Woke up Wed. a.m. to 3 inches of snow at my house. Then it snowed again last night.

I still have snow in my yard and on my roof. They say it is suppose to warm up again this weekend.

I AM SICK OF THE SNOW!!!

I just watched The Notebook the other day. A beautiful story about this.

I bought dvd of the notebook while husband went away to Australia for squash competition. I watched it and oh it was so good story. I handed it to friend pass over another friend also my mother in law, she loved it too. I got it back at last. Will watch it again.

I missed this but I am happy too. I bought a pink dress for tropical night and it isn't really tropical. I was thinking of wearing it to the tasting as well. Is anyone else going to wear a dress?

It was 100 here one day and 70 the next so maybe that is the same. I was happy because I didn't have to turn the air on.
