Hello everyone!!

Here I am ... back from the abyss

Between Taxes, trying to help a friend sell his Franchise (and getting paid for any free hours I found to help him), then most importantly keeping up on Schoolwork (since we homeschool), David's hockey schedule, and my teenage girls' social schedule ... then I caught a VERY BAD flu (but I couldn't slow down enough to get better) and finally completing our Girl Scouts Spring Registration for our ever-growing troop (we added 7 new girls, then I closed the troop!), I am completely exhausted, overwhelmed since I am now going to have to "rush" to get my packing done ...

... and I have MISSED you all so much!!

Instead of even trying to catch up (I think I am 3 full threads behind!!)

I am just going to jump right in again.

If anything really cool, funny or important happened in the past 3 weeks, please let me know.

I am planning to spend tomorrow on the DIS .... maybe not exactly relaxing in bed (lots of laundry to catch up on and general errands and house chores) ... but at least a bit of relaxing when I can. I probably will end up visiting the doctor as I really am not well. Cannot stop coughing, and nose won't stop running ... but ... I will be on the DISboards tomorrow hoping many of you remember me and can catch me up on the latest happenings.

I simply cannot believe that we leave in only 16 days

Can you lose 40 pounds in 16 days?? Anyone?? Bueller??

I'll be here long enough to read at least a few pages while I drink my tea ... I have one of those HUGE mugs (mine is Tinkerbell) from Disneyland, I think it holds a quart.

Ohmigosh!!

We missed the DIS Meet (I was sick and wouldn't have come an infected you all, but I had also thought it was next weekend).

AND ... that means we missed out on picking up our lanyards!!

Well, since I finally made it back here ... guess I will just talk to myself.


Wanted to share that I ordered two great ... and by great I mean LARGE ... luggages and one garments bag. All for under $200. This will be DH and my "traveling bags" for many years to come. We had been using mine (the ones I have had since I was 17!! and I am now 42!! that means I have been using "Burt" and "Ernie" for 25 years!! ... so I name my luggage ... there's nothing wrong with that ... and I never watched Sesame Street, the names just sorta stuck) and I wasn't sure they would make one more trip. Anyhow got a great deal on Amazon from ebags. They arrived in 4 days. And I love them!!

So ... for any of you who are not actually packed yet ... 'cuz I think some of you are!!

OMGosh, I can´t believe that we have less than 3 weeks to go and I haven´t done a thing

As I posted a few weeks ago, I am pregnant and battling morning sickness, but we are still cruising, I just hope it doesn´t get worse and I am left green in my cabin while DH and DD have all the fun.

I know that I promised somebody a few Harry Potter books, but i can´t remember whom, so whoever you are, please do ring my cabin (5134) one day so I can give them to you.

I have awful preggo brain, so please, please, please bear with me, and if I seem rude to someone by not recognising you or remember your names, please do tell me, I will not be at all ofended if you do

I have not started packing, and don´t have a list yet, and I don´t know if it is even worthwile trying on my gowns since what fits now might not fit anymore in a couple of weeks

Hi Julie, nice to see you. Sorry about the morning sickness - hope it is much better by the time of the cruise.

Since they just call it Soarin' at WDW I suspect they will one day make it different. There is just so much diversity in the CA landscape that it makes an amazing ride....redwood, orange groves, snow covered mountains, deserts, beaches.

I believe we were gonna head straight to DCA on the 25th because there are things going on in DCA that only happen the one day we are there.

I think it is things like:

The Aladdin show (must not miss IMHO)
Electrical Parade
High School Musical

That is a good idea. I hadn't thought of doing that on the first day, but very sensible.

No time to catch up at the moment, and I'm 20+ pages behind.

But just had to say - my docs are on their way!!!

According to the UPS website, they arrived in the UK at 0012 today and went out for delivery at 0604. Saying that, they'll probably take longer to do the 30 miles from Tamworth/East Midlands Airport than they took to cross the Atlantic.

I just hope they either put them through the door or leave them with a neighbour.

Good Morning All - a busy weekend for us....

Thanks for the scapbook course update...I will answer the PM when I get to work and see if I remember my paypal account......

Completed some cruise related items this weekend, so I think we are now ready to pack, when we get the suitcases...wonder if they have been delivered yet....must check.

TWO WEEKS TO GO TIME TO GET EXCITED and do the banana dance.......

Not even going to try to catch up this morning, as chatty as this group is....

I know a few of us are worried about losing a few pounds before the cruise.....but

I seem to be freaking out about the 60/50 lb limit for baggage....not to mention the 62 inch restriction.....

I've been unable to find my UPS package using the site.....ugh

WE GOT OUR CRUISE DOCUMENTS TODAY, AT 1015 BST!

It's not my fault that I'm at work, and that UPS don't appear to have tried to leave them with our neighbours.

I think they should do one that's "flying over the USA. So many cool places they could choose. The Cascades and the Rockys, Hawaii, Alaska, the Plains, NYC, etc.

It would be good if there were several different versions, chosen randomly so you didn't know which you would see each time. Like with Tower of Terror.

Tigger's Tails are 4 marshmallows on a lollipop stick dipped in orange colored white chocolate and striped with chocolate. Not sure where all you can get them but I know they carry them in the candy shop in the Pooh Corner store.

Yes, that's where I've seen them. Just didn't know what they were called.
