When I phoned DL for a dining reservation they weren't grumpy, not friendly either, but very short. I said my last name, no problem, then first name, Marilyn, and she just said 'spell it', very short and sharp.

I guess sitting at a phone all day speaking to us is no fun.

Although I pretty much do all the home admin, if we need to phone WDW then DH always does it. For some reason, I have great difficulty making myself understood with them. A combination of the accent, the language difference, and my speaking too quietly I think. But DH always seems to get on famously with whoever answers and ends up having a chat with them.
