Sorry if this has been covered before but I didn't really have a reason to pay attention to this until now. Can you use a WDW Premium Annual Pass at Disneyland? We aren't visiting the park at the end of this cruise but are thinking of going out in October to visit our daughter and her family and will take them to DL for a few days. We have WDW PAPs and it would help if we could use them and at least get a discount.

Also if you trade a single park ticket from WDW you get a single park ticket at DL, if you trade a PH ticket from WDW you get a PH at DL.

Since Carol has to carry our team FE gifts, I could take care of the laynards (unless Monica wants to receive them since she will be driving instead of flying). Oh, wait, you could send them directly to me AT the Hyatt....duh.

Jackie, if you or Monica could take care of getting the lanyards, etc. to the Hyatt that would be great. I will be in the lobby to help distribute them for sure. We probably should do a list of people who are staying at the Hyatt at least, so that we can tell Kelly whose badges to send to us.

A Tale of Tails, the Finale

Everything is at the dry cleaners now. I'm not exactly sure, but judging by the mustiness, I think they were former funeral attire.

I knew they had to be dry cleaned before I got them. He cut me a deal so I was OK with that.

Nearly everyday more pieces of the ensemble arrives. Not the tux. I have them. It's the accouterments that are arriving. I nearly have everything here. There are just a few accessories yet to arrive that are coming from the UK and Bulgaria.

Hmmm ... I hoping that we're able to achieve Maximum Fabulosity.

Goodmorning all, Woke up very early and started printing out badges for our lanyards. I've been trying to print about 30 per day, I think I'm making a dent in the list. I'm getting ready for a huge business trip, doing a presentation based on our new book. Then 5th b'day, then we leave. It's coming fast.

OK all inside now. Made a nice dinner and sat at the table like humans for about 5 minutes. Geez.....

Kathe....I meant to post earlier....but I really think the adjustment from being a couple to having a child is really make or break for a couple, it tests you on so many levels as you bring a piece of you into the world and still try and be a couple. John and I often talk about how some days were so hard when the girls were younger....still are, but we both know that if we run away we want to be together and can't leave behind the girls...! Maybe a break will show them what they are missing....and I am so happy you get to see your Granddaughter, take some pictures and maybe DH will get over his baby fix!

Thanks V Yes, it is quite an adjustment from a couple to a family. I think my son and his gf needed much more time together before becoming a family, but as we all know, sometimes life doesn't go as planned. We know how hard it is to adjust to being a parent, but my son's gf also had to adjust to moving across the country and leaving all her family and friends behind. I hoped and wished for the best, but I knew there was a good chance that there might not be a happy ending. I still hope that maybe they still have a future together, and am thankful that his gf considers me family, so I think (and pray) that I will continue to be in my gd's life.

There is no way I will catch up on the last couple of days. Just checking in here from somewhere in Delaware.....Newark I think. My uncle has made the trip fine so far, we still have a couple of days before we return home. Memorial (wake) was today. Now just a day to visit with my cousins wife and kids and then home.....where I wish I were now.

It was a great unselfish act of love to go with your Uncle. You will never forget this and neither will he.

I think we will have a very large group at the Grand Californian after the cruise, the race for check-in begins as soon as the gang plank is opened, lol.

I will let you beat to the GC. We always take our time leaving the ship because it is never an easy thing to do. This one will be even harder because it is the first time we will be leaving the ship and won't have another cruise booking which we are already counting down to. We are taking a break until 2011 when the new ship comes out.

Sandra, we are thinking the same on sailing, nothing booked for '09, might do a 4 day in '10. But will be sailing in '11 for sure on the new ship.

I saw in your signature that you are staying at the GC for five nights after we debark the ship. That is what we are doing. Are you coming to the Storytellers breakfast?

We are going to the following meals:

Chip n’ Dale Critter Breakfast
Storytellers Cafe
May 29th at 7am

Princess Supper
Ariel’s Grotto
May 30th 6pm

When is your breakfast and is it the Chip n' Dale one or something else? We are going to Knott's Berry farm for one day and other than that just staying with Disney. Didn't want to spend our six days there driving from one place to another. Besides our three little girls haven't been to DL only WDW so they will enjoy the time there.
