I understand the process as you've described. Have you addressed the fact that you are traveling soon and it would be nice for both of you to have some resolve on this prior to the pending travel?

It would be great if you would be able to start and get some of the trial and error doseages out of the way before the trip. From my limited understanding of these issues I would think that the drugs might give Tyler the ability to cope with the club environment and then you would have some enjoyment of some free time too.
I don't want to rush them and have them hurry just for the sake of a vacation. I want the peditrician to be able to have all info from every place so she knows just what she's dealing with and what would be best for him to try. This vacation is so long, I'll still have plenty of free time. :thumbsup2 No worries!

Holly aren't you guys in a cat 10 also??? Aren't you worried??? I couldn't do it myself, too claustrophobic myself.
We're in an 11. Yup, I'm very worried! That's all that was available when we booked, so I had to take it. I plan on asking a Dr. for some meds to help me stay calm. :thumbsup2 I didn't have luck getting her to give me something for my migraines, but will try again as soon as I'm able to get an appointment.

If they are testing him for special ed, which they may not be, they won't give him anything because they want to see how he is off the meds. They need to hurry though. He should have a couple of weeks to get used to the med that is right for him. HURRY!
They are testing for special ed. They already say he qualifies because of the major difference in test scores. Apparently his overall IQ tested very high, but the score in other areas was at a 3 1/2 year old level, so something's not connecting right. It's all confusing to me, but there was something about standard deviations and him meeting that requirement for special ed is all that I understood, they're just going to test now to see exactly what they want to offer him. They're using the scores from the neuropsych eval and are going from there.

Morning all!

It is another gray, foggy, and gloomy day here in Maryland. This vacation can't get her quick enough.

My checklist of "things to do" seems to get things slowly checked off at the top and more things quickly added to the bottom.

Shopping is almost complete. :cool1:

Ian,

I have been thinking about your avatar. Many threads ago you asked if anyone could identify them. I am pretty sure that's Ken, but it is hard to see the one in the back. It could be Midge, but I can't see any freckles. It could also be Francie, but I thought her hair was longer. How am I doing?

This weekend, I have to do a very important pre-trip ritual:

The Survey of the Suitcases

I have to figure out if the 300 tuxedos we have will fit in the one Samsonite garment bag.

We have 2-sets of tails, 2 white dinner jackets, 2 pairs of tux pants (trousers for our UK friends, I did not buy formal underwear), 2 black vests (waistcoats for our UK friends), 2 white vests, 2 black bow ties, 2 white bow ties, 4 tux shirts. Then there are the accouterments, which I will not reveal here.

Somehow, I suspect that it all won't fit into one garment suitcase. A trip to Target may be in the cards for this coming weekend for another garment suitcase, which is really a shame, because we never use a garment bag. I use one when I travel for business.

.

Don't forget Ebags. They have many different styles of garment bags. I like to check it out and read the reviews before I shop.

Wow I can't believe I am the only one here. Where is everyone?

Uh, no, not mixed up...that is how you get from Australia to the US - fly across a little thing called the Pacific Ocean, then first landing point is LA...then we have to fly across the country to get to Florida...

I had thought that putting the :lmao: at the end, people would realise I was kidding ......

My geography is poor, but not that poor. ;)

We have two more pages to fill up here before they close the thread. What can we chat about or psot pictures of to fill them up?

I have alot of time to kill, I am on call. I'm sure there are other things (housework, laundry and etc.) that I could be doing while waiting for the call.
They just aren't as fun as the Dis.

We're beginning to think about next year's 40th wedding anniversary trip.:scared1:

John would very much like to do a train journey accross Canada, which we would link in with many other places to visit.

Have any of you been on one of these epic rail journeys?

We did Toronto-Jasper-Vancouver in 1999. Loved it.

Good Morning and HAPPY 30 Days people!!

John finally sounded excited this morning - he woke up and said - V - one month!!

Cork - love your DOD ticker - but you are only going to have 15?

I have to head over to the hospital in a little bit - have a meeting from 10-12...!
