People this is why you take digital photos of each outfit and dinner outfit as you pack it so then you can add it to your list on your pc and know what is in the suitcases. Not that I do this or anything

My room is a mess right now. I have a Cal King bed and it is covered in cruise stuff! Maybe next weekend I can get the kids stuff all packed and be done with them at least.

I hear ya'. I'm going out of town on Thurs. to spend some time w/my sister, her husband, kids and grandkids down in central AZ at a resort. I'll probably be gone until Sunday. She says they have internet there but the connection isn't very good and besides, I don't think I'll have a lot of time to myself to get online, so I'll be hopelessly behind, I'm sure.

If, in between the banter, anybody posts a link or something important I should respond to, would you please PM it to me?

They're the ones I can't pack for. Most the stuff I am taking I don't wear all the time but the kids wear theirs all the time. Except for a few that I won't let them touch. Where are you sleeping?

My mom made me wait until 12. At the time it seemed horrible to have to wait but I'm positive now it was the right thing to do

(She passed out when they pierced MY ears - luckily we were at the dr's not the mall)

I got my ears pierced when I was 19 and only because my two younger sisters had done it so I felt shamed into doing it. (It was back in the late 60s when having pierced ears was just becoming an OK thing to do). I hadn't done it yet because I was too chicken! My mom had me go to the Dr. to get it done--I think at that time the only alternatives to the Dr. were an ice cube and a big needle wielded by one of the girls in the dorm. Anyway, I went to the Dr. and my sisters and brother all came for moral support. When the Dr. handed me the mirror to see how they looked, I fainted.

I never lived it down.

Hopefully i got everyone's dates right. I was so worried I'd put the wrong dates on each one. Let me know if there is a problem, they are fairly simple to fix.

Let me know what you think of Sweeney Todd. I saw it twice in the theater and am going to see the stage show next week. I really liked it!

And you lived to tell about it. Which probably wouldn't have been the case in the dorm room with an ice cube. I have three holes on each side and my dad told me if I get another hole in my head that I shouldn't come home. Now I don't wear any earings. They probably aren't even open anymore. I wonder if I liked it or I was just rebeling. I know I'm a rebel...not.

I have two holes on each side and I very rarely wear earrings now, especially since I retired. You really don't have to wear earrings with a bathrobe...or sweats!

But I will bring some to wear on the cruise, since I'll be livin' it up!

I hear ya. I work at home so I get dressed to take the kids to school and then come home and change until I have to pick them up. I never wear make-up unless it is Friday and that's only because Jon takes me to lunch.

it didn't hold my interests tonight, so I switched over the bachelor london. i think I'm just too wiped out tonight to pay attention to anything with much of a story. it's also weird to see Jack, not as Jack
