OK, panic ends!
I have been off the computer for probably 48 hours due to work, Condo Association Board Meeting, sleep and a Continuing Education Course.
So I got home with groceries, made dinner, did dishes and baked some oatmeal cookies. While watching NUMB3RS I tried to log on and see what has happened since page 2817 (see--even two days ago I was BEHIND) and I get a message that I am not permitted to view that page.

AARGH!! What have I done? Who have I insulted? What did I say?

So I e-mailed and PMed Holly and Webmaster Lisa. Both contacted me with info to access this thread.

I am so glad to be back. This has been scary.

Well its nice to see some other troops coming aboard. What'd you think of the weather today. It got to about 5 degrees where we live.

Yeah, a regular heat wave. I'm getting REALLY TIRED of these single digit temps. Supposed to be 40 Monday! My winter coat can stay home that day!

Well, I got our DCL info today in the mail. Like everyone else has said, nothing we already didn't know but it sure is purdy!

I'm signing off early tonight. I'm leaving tomorrow morning at 6:45am to go scrapbooking for the weekend with some girlfriends. I call this my "mom rejuvination weekend".

Hi Nan,

I just checked the DCL site to see if there was a time posted....nothing yet, but thinking more about it, I don't think they'd have more than 1 time on this. We'll need to see how we can book this just for Molly since she's a minor. (How old is she again??) What you may want to do that first day we can book, is book for the 2 of you, then we can call DCL and take you off but leave her on. We'll get it done right

Cork - I LOVE the idea for the dining mates! I'd heard about doing it for the characters.....I plan actually to bring a mat (for a frame) and ask them to sign that, then get a "group" pic and put it in there.

We had pillow cases and frames signed on our last cruise. I'm trying to think of something creative and different to have them sign this year.

What other ideas does anyone have for this???

It costs less than a new camera lense.

I forgot to tell you Paul got the LENSE for the Rebel It's a 70-300, should be well broken in for the trip. I'm so glad he finally just bought the darn thing! He also got a cool tripod that will wrap around a post.

Regarding linked reservations and booking Palo on line:

We have 5 people linked for dining (3 cabins), when I go on line in 2 weeks...all 5 names should show up on my reservation now***, right? When I click on booking dinner will the drop down option be '1-2' '3-4' '5-6' ??? What I'm trying to achieve here is being able to book a 6 top so we can have someone join us.

***OR...do all the names only show up when your cabins are linked as in a group booking???

Goodnight everybody! I plan on sleeping until noon tomorrow, but if I happen to wake up earlier, I'll be back here in the morning! Jewelry party at 2:00, and I want to try to find and repair Bobby's leak before the party so he can make it through the event. Yup, Bobby gets to be a jewelry model! I am so glad it is Friday. The girls did not want to get up. It was 49 degrees! This yo yo weather is driving me batty. John is supposed to run in Gasparilla tomorrow. I don't know if we are going with him or not.
Samantha has a 100 day party today. We had to bring M&M's....so she will be hyped up on sugar this afternoon.

Gasparilla!!! Man does that bring back the warm and fuzzies... 49 degrees would be a heat wave here.. It was -1 last night here..... I miss Florida, maybe someday.....

Well oldest DD is on her way. We are going to the Mall.

Youngest DD is leaving for a Photography class in Utah the day we return from the PC cruise. She'll need luggage since we'll have most of it.

Had a wonderful dinner at a neighborhood restaurant that recently went under new managment. OMG! It's wonderful. I walked in, Peg was at the tiny bar with the manager and she said "You aren't going to believe this." I said, "What?" (clever response eh?). "They sell Rosa Regale by the glass!" Tried Banfi's San Angelo Pinot Grigio...LOVED IT. So my new 'special' dining plan is a glass of Pinot Grigio with bruchetta, a salad, then straight to their chocolate souffle (YOU HEARD ME) and a glass of Rosa Regale. Sometimes 'mom' makes panna cotta too. I swear I felt like I was at Palo! So I didn't have any Rose Ragle tonight, as he only had one bottle, I told him not to open it...I was taking it home (for tomorrow). As he is liscensed properly, he sold it to me at the same price as the wine shop charges (not at a 'restaurant' jacked up price per bottle). Saved me a stop at the wine shop.

Oh, I forgot THE BEST PART. So, this restaurant has various vintners come in and do wine tastings and special dinniers. The Banfi folks will be there March 9th and they are doing a five course dinner with wine parings....$65!!! I am SO THERE!
