EWWWWWWW Gydell......I LOVE this idea! Make him take off 2 weeks and go with you and Tyler. He can sleep on the couch with his daughter and you and Tyler can have the bed.....then you could all go together and have a blast and we could all meet him. You both need the time together anyway after all this time appart. This could really work well. DO IT! ASK HIM!

Sandy, you don't know how right you are!!!! I have been known to put together a couple or two that ended up getting married and are going on their 15th year together......not bad!

Not to speak for Holly but she did mention that her mom doesn't even know she's going yet because she said she wouldn't approve because Holly still owes her from when she borrowed last.

I wanted to explain why DH started a google group. He loves the Dis but can't keep up. I will post or thread info and what is on the first page and try to keep it up to date with cruise info so if our thread gets deleted again all our info is safe and we can dicuss excursions and things. I know its not as nice as the old ship of thieves website/forum but that would cost $$ and take alot of time. This was easier and is more of a back-up.

Okay guys ... I would be interested to know who does/sells/represents what .. especially as far as homebased sales (Tupperware, Candles, etc.).

I would be happy to give my orders to someone I knew would put the $$ to good use ... like another DCL cruise

Don't get me wrong, I don't buy much (not interested in having a "party"), but sometimes need a few things.

I also would love to share any travel help/tips (not necessarily the DCL stuff, which I am sure is well-covered by these boards, but info for land, cruise, rail or ??). Not out looking for bookings/commissions, but I am happy to help and I often receive information regarding upcoming rate specials before they are posted and often can find better rates (on my agent engines) than are available to the general public.

Feel free to PM me directly if that is more appropriate, but I have been know to purchase candles and tupperware (for my own use) ... sometimes purchase jewelry and scrapbooking stuff (for friends mostly) ... and would love to give my orders to my DIS friends.

Ok hello I am at the bowling tournie on my new blackberry. I have little to no idea how to use this. My boss made me get it if I was going to be out of the country so long. Anyway I have been playing with it and trying to learn it. So if I gpell wong or mis-capilitize you will understand. I want to tell everyone how awesome each and everyone of you are and I feel blessed to know each of you. I can not wait to meet everyone in a few short months.

Well VA Tech girls and boys team are both in first place right now. Daniel is sick 102 fever but is still bowling pretty good.

Ohmigosh ... I just noticed that noone is currently planning Door Tag (unless I missed something, and if so, please let me know).

I am definitely happy to take the lead on this. Do you all want to play??


In case you haven't played DIS DoorTag ... someone (me in this case) makes up a Door Magnet and then "tags" the door of one other DIS member, who "signs off" and then "tags" another .. and so on. When the magnet is completely filled in (everyone has been tagged), you return in to my door. I will then switch to magnet number 2 ... we can try to get thru several magnets (with so many sea days, we should set a high goal). The kids ... and the kids-at-heart ... all like this one as it is hilarious to see everyone running back to the room to "check" for the doormagnet, the run down the halls to place it as quickly as possible.

I would have prizes for everyone (delivered by my crew to each fish extender or door) after each magnet has been completely signed off.

What do you think? Do you want to play??

Sorry Daniel is sick. But good for him still bowling well in spite of his fever! And YAY for both teams being in first place! WOOHOO! If they keep that up, I'll bet there will be lots of celebrating tonight.....AT YOUR HOUSE!

There is a cat 4 on line.....I'd call DCL ask them about the cat 4 w/ 3 adults and 2 kids....they can put it on a courtesy hold, then you could talk to Heather and see what the $ per family would end up being. Then if it's still too much, DCL will auto-cancel the courtesy res if no $ is put down. It that is a go...call DU and get them to take over the new res, apply all your $ to that cruise and tada!

Ok just woke up and work tonight so trying to catch up quick! I had no problem with the cat 4 but she had cindy back then so that wouldnt have worked. If shes willing to do that I wouldnt mind.

Thanks for everybody's kind words, moral support, wonderful ideas, etc. I feel honored to be a part of such a warm & caring group. If I'm unable to make things work out, I'll sincerely miss meeting all of you, but I haven't given up all hope yet.
