PJ, I can bring whatever food we need....I know I won't eat much, I hardly eat breakfast on embarkation day. I am just too darn excited!

V, that is my job for the villa, no stealing! BTW what do the little ladies like for breakfast, oh and John2? Have to feed the men. I was thinking cereal for the little ladies and bagels and fruit for the big kids, coffee and OJ.

Wow, this day is crawling! Fridays are always so quiet here at work. I was just sitting here remembering that our time "springs forward" this weekend. I hate losing that hour - but then I thought "one hour closer to the cruise!" It's the little things... :woohoo:

I believe this was in regards to Holly flying Spirit airlines and their luggage requirements.

Ahhhhhhhh-- thanks...not the Disney luggage express then...whew...

Speaking of which - can you check out from the ship to your airplane? I have not even thought about how to get to the airport when we leave the ship.

Guess I am putting off that task...

????????????????? Help - never done this before -- what is the deal? Sorry if this is duplicative but.......am I understanding that I need to somehow pre-register with the Disney bus to take me to the airport?????

Newbie help needed - thanks.

No you're fine. It's Spirit Airlines that you have to pay for luggage to be checked.

today is dragging, and it is WINDY outside. Central Fl is under tornado warnings.....I think one even touched down in Tallahassee.

This is the time for our nightly glass of champagne....

Right on! That's what I'm talking about! We are bringing a few of our favorites with us. Although I did order a bottle through DCL so it will be chilling when we get there! No wasting valuable champagne drinking time!

Stay safe.

We have a severe weather warning for Sunday night/Monday. Bad winds with some strange weather phenomenon called a 'bomb' by meteorologists!!:confused3 Worst winds for over 20 years are forecast. We are slightly east of the country so aren't supposed to have it as bad.

thanks Marilyn, I just went outside to see if we'll be able to swim, it's still warm enough - tomorrow it is supposed to go back down again. I plan on jogging when I get home and then taking the girls in the pool.

Has anyone heard anything about the new menus that are supposed to come out next month??? I read this on the main board...

Maybe Linda has heard????

Linda????? :)

There is a new menu already on the Wonder in Palo's. I ate there the first night last week and it was excellent! I haven't seen any other news about the new menus, but due to the length of this cruise (and it's the first 15 night cruise Disney has done, if I am thinking correctly), there will be new menus because of the number of nights. They might even re-vamp some of the PC from 2005 or the Med in 2007.

I looked at the old navigators from the 2005 WPC and they show only 2 evening shows. 6:30 and 8:30

The only time they did an afternoon show that I can remember is when they premiered Twice Charmed and I believe they added an afternoon show so the cast members could have another opportunity to perform it.

This past summer there were showings in the afternoon, this could have beent to deal with crowds, but it would be a nice perk to get to do some of the evening events instead of the show and not miss the show.

Well done on the jogging and swimming. I hope you aren't lagging round a cooler full of booze on your jog!!!!:lmao:

I agree. We had an afternoon show on our cruise on the sea day. It was great. We didn't feel rushed to fit everything in.

We went on our only other cruise on President's day weekend, Feb 06, it was a 4 day and the cruise was packed.

Went to see Fool's Gold this morning and thought I was going to fall asleep. Unless you have nothing to do then don't bother going to see it. All the cute parts are in the previews.

One thing that really impresses us with your country is your praise of your forces fighting overseas. Whilst I realise not everyone will feel the same, we do get a feeling you value your troops.

In our country we are very bad at valuing our service personnel, but we have just reached a new low. One city, Peterborough, is close to an air force base, and the service personnel are being verbally abused when seen in uniform in the city because the abusers don't agree with our deploying troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.:sad2: So, they have been told not to wear uniform when out in the city!:confused3

It was almost that bad here when I got home from VietNam. I almost had to kick a few butts, but I got over it. LOL. I think I used to worry Angie a bit. :scared1: I am glad these guys are getting a fair shake though. It's about time.:goodvibes

Our country did the same thing during the Vietnam war and hopefully we have learned our lesson and we are not doing it now. Just the opposite, we now support and show thanks and respect for our soldiers. We appreciate what they are doing so that I can have freedom and rights.

Maybe in time your country will learn your lesson too and turn it around.

Whoops. Catching up and didn't read far enough. Thank You for that. :goodvibes

We need a poll, or actually I would like a poll, but haven't figured out how to do one.

With all the talk about dining times and dining rotations, which would you prefer if you could select just one as an option with DCL:

A specific dining time; for example 5:30 or

A specfic rotation, such as LAP.

So what is more important to you, time or rotation?

I am really torn between the two.

I would like 8:00pm. We have only cruised once. We had 8:30 dinner and we arrived at the Pirate Party just in the nick of time. I know you can ask the waiters to hurry things along and we should have done this.

But I would also prefer PLA rotation. It seems to be a a better rotation for this cruise.

Aaack the dilemma!!!!!

I'm not really sure what I want because I have never been but I am wondering why most people have late dining? I feel like I'm missing out on something.:confused3
