Allrighty...
Bags packed. Alarm set. Kid settled. Ready for it to be morning so I can be on my way to DISNEYLAND! Anyone in the OC gonna be around this weekend? I have a commitment at 11am saturday for and hour, but them I'll be around the park. Kelly, woody who's up for mini meet? I can't wait to ride nemo. I know it's nothing big, but it's new to me! AND I plan on doing tower of terror and california screamin' over and over and over again..no kid whining that they're done! Ah...disney w/o kids...could it be any better?!?!?

We are visiting a possible new project on Saturday, so we will be in the area. May try to head to the park after the meeting, we're still not sure on our timing. We have a home schooling issue as you may have heard, that we need to respond too. Crazy time for all the home schooled.

15 more pages Marr.....are you ready to start another one? I'm soooooooo glad you volunteer to do this because I don't have a clue and don't want to learn.......I just want you to be available to take care of it. Thanks!

I just ordered my part of the fish gifts that will be given out by the Liberty Belles. That was really the last thing I had to do. Now it's done. The only thing left is to send a box to the pier.....and that can't be done until one week before boarding. Hopefully I'll have a room assignment by then. I would like to put my number on my luggage and box to be mailed.

On the phone DCL now said 2 weeks before boarding we'll get assigned.....just in the nick of time before I have to have it for the mailing. That's cutting it close. I like to know in advance so it can be taken care of early and not have to do anything last minute. Oh well. I have to hope we'll find out as soon as possible.

Well done Deb. I have loads to organise and buy as yet.

I think DCL are just punishing us for all the hoohah we caused with the PC transit tax!!!;)

that made me smile....we have a favorite book from Molly's toddler years that is about Babushka...we have always loved that term and the look...blanket wrapped around ones head and hunched over walking like an old lady. Wilson does a nice impression of that one too.:lmao:

Nan, you have now obligated poor wilson to a performance, can you schedule a time and I will add time and location to the calendar, :3dglasses .

Are you asking me?

6:30, when I last cruised (6/06). On sea days there was also a mid-afternoon show (3 shows that day). I wonder if they still do that?

No afternoon shows in October, I was really hoping there would be.

Yep, that is a nice camera as well. It was one that my wife was looking at but she decided to go with the Canon 720IS. She went with the 720 over the SX100 simply because she wanted a viewfinder for sunny days when the screen doesn't always work too well. But I really like the looks of the Sx100 and it has the nice features that Canon is well known for.

I loved my S2, so it will be tough to get over not having it. Right now my backup camera is an old Canon A70 3MP 3X zoom. :sad2:

That is my back up camera too, this is why am looking for a new small camera, but I love the optical of the S3 and it is really hard to give up.

I have been looking at the 720 IS and you know it is not so bad. I think I could go with the lower zoom, to get a view finder. Plus it is $60 cheaper.

I looked at the old navigators from the 2005 WPC and they show only 2 evening shows. 6:30 and 8:30

I hope I'll be resting in paradise... I guess I'm just really worried that this project isn't going to come in on time - it went slow for a while then speeded up and now it's snagged again and it seems that it's nothing that I have any control over. But I chose to work this way and I guess I have to take what comes... I just hope it works out soon or else I may be sending the Royalty on without me and moving Steve up to Prince Consort or something... :upsidedow

Although I would not mind the "Royal Bump" I would rather have you join us! I am thinking that like all projects, it can be slow at start, but then it can jump into high gear very quickly and that you will be ok. The four corners need to be covered! Like the idea of a Royal Photo, may even have to get the silver polish out for it. Off to work I go now that I am caught up again.

Oh my Michelle:

I missed this last night. I hope that you are able to get this situtation under control. I understand the efforts of having to manage yourself without the comfort of a paycheck every week or two.

I'll be thinking postive thoughts for you on this.

I had been thinking about a Smart until all of our snow this winter. I somehow feel it might not be the best choice for a midwestern winter, especially seeing so many cars that were larger getting stuck in the snow.

They've been for sale up in Canada for the last several years, and they do very well up there. A big benefit is that traction and stability control come standard on every version of the car (even the $11k base version). I was talking to a guy from Calgary who was telling me that he had taken it out into a nice snow-covered parking lot and spent 30 minutes trying to spin out in it, and couldn't - the car just wouldn't let him loose control, etc. And the rear wheel drive helps in the snow, too...

For those of you still in the Lifeboats I found a great boardgame to play while there...

PJ could you also add to the website and the calendar the mom's memorial prayer that Venetia and me are going to do on Mother's Day, so that anyone who wants to attend can do so. Something like:

Mom's memorial prayer on Mother's Day......Sunday May 11 at 8:30am on the secret deck on 7 aft. Anyone who wants to join in is welcome to help Venetia and Deb remember their mom's and everyone's mom's on this special day.

Thanks PJ.

Marr, could you put it on page one. Thanks.
