I suppose ... If I had to ...

Lime green just isn't my color, though I find myself asking, is it anyone's color?

I won't make you do it kicking and screaming....:rotfl2: (that's Ian kicking and screaming...)

I wonder why all the continental breakfast? We are usually up at 4:30 in the morning. The buses don't start leaving until 10, don't they?

Is there going to be some huge slapping fight to see who gets on the bus first? I hate a scene.

Well, in that case... order room service, relax... enjoy... but does that mean you guys will be turning in early on night one??? like I won't be???

I booked three rooms 15-20 minutes after they went on sale and they gave me room numbers right then! I am really glad that I do not have the added worry about getting stateroom numbers.
You're very fortunate.

Here we are -- 13 months later -- and we're still GTY. Arrgghhh!

My sister owns a dance studio in Riverside, CA. They teach tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. It is a time consuming endeavor, that is for sure!

Too bad that is so far from us, we've been looking for a good referal

It is beautiful today. Here is the view from my office!

Next, time I'm at the top of one of those rides I'll hold up a sign for you!

I don't think it is oversold because a lot of cabins opened up a month or so ago...remember that?

Yes, I remember that, but I wonder if certain catagories are still oversold. We have seen that one cat 4(;) ) keep popping up.

Trying to get caught up again. :sad2:

With all this talk of football teams, Pats, Steelers, Browns and so on... I have only one thing to add DA BEARS!!!

That is too bad - they are really good (and I'm not being biased). They've done really well at all their competitions for the last few years. My niece, who is the primary teacher danced with or was taught by quite a few of the really good choreagraphers - some of who are in LA now. Cory Finn, Tina DeAmato, Mark Meismer, etc. You may have heard of them.

If you are ever interested, you can check them out at http://kristisforeverdancin.com. Kristi is my niece. CHeck it out and let me know what you think!

It's a deal! Let me know and I'll be on the lookout! :rotfl:

:rotfl: Ok.... I'll take it... if only to give up my Cat 5 for someone else.... :rotfl:

I think you could line the kids up in the hallway outside the spa and get both done!!!

Wouldn't that go over like a lead balloon!:scared1:

Cheri:
We have to not conflict with the group picture or scrapbook times/days too!!! Check pj's calendar and then have her add this to it once you have decided what to do, ok?:goodvibes

I did check her calendar and there's nothing listed that it would conflict with. I'll ask her to add it.

Hi all,

I just wanted to drop in and say hello. By now, you've probably figured out that we had to drop out of the cruise. DH's business is growing so well, we just can't really justify the time right now. He's promised me a christmas or 2009 cruise instead. I'm holding out for when the new ships arrive.

Anyway, I wish I could still be going. I hope you all have a grand time. I'll check in from time to time to dream.

Fair winds, calm seas and disney dreams,
~Tori
Hey Tori,
I'm sorry you won't be joining us! I'm going on the Dec. 7 Wonder--maybe I'll see you on that!

Well, in that case... order room service, relax... enjoy... but does that mean you guys will be turning in early on night one??? like I won't be???

Actually, we may need to sleep in, seeing as we will arrive at 11:30 PM.

Turn in early the first night?????? I think not. I'll be too excited. Sukie may need to turn in early, but I think I might be needing a fruity-fatty-boozy beverage!

we have decided to just fill the bathtub up instead of the toilet lid being left up!!!!!!!!

This reminded me of neighbors we had in Fla. They asked us to feed their cats while they were gone. After a few days I started looking for the litter box. I couldn't find it and got worried about where the cats were leaving their presents. I finally found the spot. They had trained their cats to go in the tub. They would run the shower to rinse the items down the drain. :scared1:

While streching, after her Walking for Fitness badge with the girl scout troop on Sunday afternoon, in our driveway she dislocated it. Fortunately it popped right back in, but it hurt and she was scared. It gets swollen while she is on it all day at school and then while resting it goes down. I'm afraid it's the same kind of thing I did in 7th grade during wrestling practice. I've had weak knees every since. I'm always afraid they will "pop" out again during activity that stresses them (like snow sking) hence my lack of enthusiam for such sports.

I poped my knee out when I was younger and it still bothers me. I did it twice before I went to the dr. and they said I don't have enough holding it in. I have a knee ace bandage (it slips on). I keep with me now when it hurts I put it on. It hurts really bad. Give her lots of hugs. When I went to the dr. he gave me a huge brace. I couldn't bend my knee at all.:sad2:

My DW has told me there were several posts about digital cameras some time back. I looked, but that could take forever. We are in the market for a new camera(can't find the old one). Has anyone had any experience with the Nikon Coolpix 5100. From what I've seen, it appears to be very versatile and not too big. Sorry to bring up something has been hashed out before, but would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Greg

Greg,

The wife and I both have Nikon CoolPix S51's. They are really neat cameras. They are very compact, 3X optical zoom, SD memory card,8 mpxls, and many bells and whistles. The one thing that sold me on the camera was that it does not have a lens that extends when turned on. The camera does require a special rechargeable battery which comes with the camera and you can get extras on E-Bay for about $15 each. Found it to be a really great tourist camera that takes great pictures. We use them a lot and have never had any problems other than the pictures of fingers from time to time.:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Would recommend this camera for anyone looking for a small, easy to use camera that wants quality photos. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I won't be in lime green either....
yes, I have a feeling the terminal will be NUTS!

Yes I think it will be totally crazy there as all the Dissers will be beating down the doors when they open!

Be prepared though all you Hummer limo people as those limos are not able to pull up close to the terminal like the little cars. At least the super jumbo stretch ones that is, as I think they allow up to a certain size. I know it is not really far but if you travel with a million suitcases like me having to roll them down the block across the walkway to the building sucks!

. . . Lastly, the USAF has finally cut all the red tape and created a GS13 position for me!! I am extremely excited - no more self employment tax!!!
Congratulations!

Jackie - it depends on what rate is booked...there is a "business plan" rate that includes breakfast (but we're not paying that rate :rotfl: )

Thanks, glad I didn't post and tell him he was wacked!

Plans are all but finished for his 40th birthday celebration in Eden, Utah. Hope he will appreciate all the work I have put into it. We have friends coming from D.C., Oregon, San Jose, L.A., and Arizona. It should be a ton of fun.

While he has been gone, the pool turned a nice shade of green. ....... Couple grand later, we should have the cleanest pool in the area.

Lastly, the USAF has finally cut all the red tape and created a GS13 position for me!! I am extremely excited - no more self employment tax!!! Oh, and now I will have benefits - you know - paid time off is huge when you haven't had it in three years. When we go on vacation, I don't earn a dime, kind of a double whammy. The Armed Forces have so many down days and again, I don't get paid for those. It is going to be a little bit of a pay cut, but is more than worth it to just have the stability of not wondering if my contract will be renewed each year. Now, we just have to see how long it takes to go into effect. Hopefully by June.

The 40th birthday party sounds fabulous!
Sorry about the pool fiasco.:scared1:

And, congrats on becoming an GS13, and getting the benefits!

I wonder why all the continental breakfast? We are usually up at 4:30 in the morning. The buses don't start leaving until 10, don't they?

Well, since I'm saving $$ by sharing the room now...I may splurge on REAL room service breakfast...you know the $12 eggs! :scared1: I think the buses start about 9:30.

Is there going to be some huge slapping fight to see who gets on the bus first? I hate a scene.

Yes....expect bloodshed. pirate: TAKE WHAT YOU CAN....
