Laura, thanks so much for posting. Tonight we found the Olympus 790SW for $149. It's perfect for our needs.

Woody

Woody what part of LA did you go? I went to two in Norwalk and they didn't have one. One was out and the other still had the camera listed at $250. I was a bit  Am looking for one for niece and a friend.

I am sure you have answered this before, but what part of OR? We are in the Seattle area.

Hey - I was stationed at Ft Lewis and lived in Lacey and Olympia. :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc WA and would have loved to go back there. Unfortunately - I married a CA guy who :lovestruc CA too much. Thus the only time I leave here is when I go on vacation - hence - I'm always on vacation mode! :rotfl2:

Okay, so I have a story to share from yesterday......

Decided to run a couple of errands late in the afternoon and then come back to work. I had parked my car out at the front of the building because all the spots to the side were gone when I came to work.

So, I NEVER, and I mean NEVER, leave the building through the front entrance, but I gathered up my purse, and since I'm on the 2nd floor, I went out the middle and down our atrium stairs and decided once I was at the bottom to use the ladies restroom before I left.

Well, I NEVER, and I mean NEVER, use that restroom. I either use the one upstairs or go down the back staircase and use the one on the first floor, but I did. So used my key to get in. Did my thing, and then......

When I went to leave, the door on the stall was broke and I couldn't get out. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Now, normally, this would not take me over the edge, but based on the events of the last month, that was just the final straw.

So, luckily I had my cell phone and called my office and asked to talk to our director of property so she could come get me out. Well, I had her paged, but to no avail, she did not answer.

So, I had the Chief Operations Officer paged and she was in a meeting but answered and I said Lisa.....would you come down to the atrium and come into the ladies restroom because I have a problem I need help with.

Well, she just happened to be in a meeting with the property manager and they both came down to the bathroom and when they entered and I told them I was stuck in the stall they hysterically started laughing and almost wet their pants.

Needless to say, it has been the joke around the office all day that I got stuck in the bathroom stall and didn't want to crawl on the floor to get out.

I really, really, need a cruise!

Ohg, I'm glad you had your cell phone!!!!:lmao:

Many thanks to those of you who directed me to the cruise meet! This is our fifth cruise with Disney! first time through the canal!:thumbsup2 Will be travelling with DH, DS (12), and DD (10)

Welcome.

The only thing that would make this story any funnier is if you were pooping tums!:rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

When I let the dog out at 7:30 AM it was almost -2 here.

Cork and Marilyn maybe we could have a table team. I will have to look and see if I still have the one from the 11 night. I didn't get a chance to do it because of other things but would like to try it this time. Bet we would see things on the ship we wouldn't see other wise.

Carol

Sounds a good idea but John isn't too keen on the whole thing. I think he wants to see all about it first!!!!

I am on page 112......so I have a lot to catch up on tonight.

this is tonight

Take Gretchen to Alice in Wonderland practice
Drive Annie to Work
Pick Gretchen up from Alice in Wonderland
Drive Gretchen to Tap and Jazz (2 hours)
Pick up Annie at work
Take Annie to Footloose practice
Pick Gretchen up from Tap and Jazz

Don will bring them home from Footloose.

And then tomorrow it starts all over again.

We are supposed to get a big snowstorm tonight and tomorrow....

Hello!

We are visiting Seattle as the first part of our trip before the cruise! Sydney to LAX then Seattle - anything you can recommend that we should do in Seattle - we have already booked our Boeing tours... Thanks!!:)

Wasn't sure when to jump in here and introduce myself, so- no time like the present. My DH and I were able to take advantage of a cancellation back in December, right before the $1000 deposit deadline. We were distraught back in January last year when we realized we had missed getting a res. for the second time for the Panama Canal crossing. However, patience paid off for us and we could not be more excited:woohoo:

It is just the two of us, I'm Vicki and my DH is Tom. We have a gty 8 and this is our 5th Disney cruise. I was able to get a res. at Palo for dinner, but missed out on brunch. Can someone confirm the 75 day mark is Monday, 2-25. I want to try again then for brunch. With all those sea days it seems odd to me that I wasn't able to get one before. I've been reading these threads since January and I see many of us are in the same boat, so to speak.

I look forward to meeting everyone in May:flower3: ,
Vicki

Welcome!!:)
Hi, if you want to buy this, you could get it posted to me in Sydney and I'll bring it along with me on the holiday, if you would like. It would be no problem at all.

Leanne:)

That is lovely of you. It will probably be a little too expensive for wearing once only, but I will have another look.

I think we are the west coast of 6...

Make sure you see the Space Needle. Course its been years but Seattle has some great nature walks. Pick up a hiking guide and they have some fabulous nature hikes that you can do as a family. Not very long or as long as you want.

Its been a few years but just before I left there - lived there for 3 years - we managed to do the underground tour of old Seattle. Basically it was discovered that at one time ( I think due to fire) Seattle was rebuilt over old parts of town. Its very old west. There's old drugstores, bath houses, things that you might find interesting. Good for a bit of reminiscing.

BTW OzDisneyFan - you have managed to combine 2 of my alltime favorites - in fact - that is my name on another forum! Small world isn't it? :rotfl:

Ok caught up. And still managed to stay awake during it all. Now it's off to bed. 6:30am is gonna come early ...

May 14 – DAY 5 - ARUBA
txaggie94gigem – team leader
DebWills
Tigger1221
OKraysLoveDisney – Needs to PM Calmom to confirm

I have to ask. Deb Wills? As in, the Deb Wills of AllEars?

:rotfl: :lmao:

I have 2 set of refill pages too....so that gives me 35 (70 front/back) pages to fill :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I bought a refill set - but only 8 pages. No clue what the scrapbooks will be like, but this is 8x8 and it was on sale at the 50% off - our scrapbook shop is getting a new owner - not voing - luckily - so I have several cruise items to play with.

Oh, ok. so PJ and John1 were in their ressies when I was trying to book. HHHMMMM. This is not good when sometimes hundreds of DISers are linked for dining.

I really don't think so. We are not linked with anyone - only 2 of us in the cabin - still had fishes for 40 minutes at a time....swimm fishey swim :fish:

Well, caught up - but that won't last - Have a great Friday and Weekend.....the planning continues at our house....How many more days???
I wanna go NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW.

I think I know perhaps why linked reservations are not showing up ...

If you look at Palo, it is showing reservations available for parties of 1 or 2 only.

Perhaps it is just suppressing the linked reservations because there is not the applicable table space inventory. Though, it would make sense to limit the number of names selected, because 2 people from 2 different reservations could possibly be going to dinner together. A triste on the Wonder?

At any rate, just a theory.

WOW I wanna eat dinner at your house! :rotfl2:
NO you don't! Then you'd start gaining weight like I have! :scared1: But I'm going to try to make today be the day I turn over a new leaf and start back at the gym. I say that lots, but will try today. And if I don't manage to come up with the motivation, I'll try again tomorrow and will keep on trying to force myself. It's bound to happen one of these days if I keep trying to set my mind to it. :thumbsup2
