It is so easy to get hooked! I don't use glue sticks, I hate them, unless they are for some little thing. I use double sided scrapbook adhesive. There are alot of companies that make it, but I like Scrapbook Adhesives. It is in a red container and is 29 feet total in length. Runs around $5-$6 depending on where you shop.

Let me share my day with you yesterday - those fihses are everywhere....

I had to drive 2 hours west - there is only one road from here to there ---

On my way out of town I and everyone esle was turned by the cops....much intrigue so I headed through another area (about 20 minutes) to get to an entry further west - drat - cops there too - and now I am on a dirt road heading north - drat - the radio says - road is blocked due to protesters take "another route west" - I get on that road - HAH - it is blocked too - protesters are chained togetehr in middle of road - all traffic west - not happening.

So I head east then north then northwest about 2 hours out of may way - on the ay back south - to get west again (following me) I hit a very small town. They are doing major road repaving - they need it - normally not a problem, but I come to a sign "Road Work Ahead - Prepare to WAIT" ....and right before my eyes I see a flash of those fihses......and I break out laughing.
Not sure what I looked like, but I got a strange stare from the flagman......

I did get a phone call form a staffer. Picked up the message on my home phone three days after it was left. (don't use the home phone for much except internet connection - dial up!! AAARRRRHHH) She had left a call back number and I did call and speak with her. She offered to book Palo for me, I told her that was not my interest, my interest was in getting someone at a high level to FIX the problem. She assured they would be working on it. We will see.

Kinda creepy to me that other people can buy your vacation pictures if they wanted to from Shutters.

Hadn't thought about that before.

I wasn't planning on dressing for mexican night either but then I found this on ebay and I figured why not, it looks cute and seems mexican themed to me. I made an offer of $6.50...I'm not usually a fan of wearing pre-worn clothes, but for one night, and the price is right, why not! We're also wearing matching Disney outfits (DH said only once also ) but I think we'll wear ours for boarding.

Thanks Angie....it's easier to go forward than it is to go backwards and have to start over again. Let's conquer one thing at a time. Cigarettes first, weight next. Yes, I do agree it's better to eat cherrios than to smoke a cigarette. Eventually, I won't be eating the cheerios anymore and I'll work on the weight then. In the meantime I'm still eating diet food so the overeating is at least less calories than eating cookies or something else.....cheerios are better than pop tarts.

Let me add my cheers to you on your accomplishments thus far and good luck in the future....Cheerios are good for your Heart....

Yes, I stayed there for my 1st anniversary! It's nice but not exceptional! It's a large property so depending where you're located you have to walk a lot!!!! Also tons of conventions are held there so you may to check to see if one's there when you're planning! If so, I would suggest somewhere else!! As they overtake the place!! And the dining is okay but not a lot of choices... mainly one foodcourt!

I can never quite make my mind up whether I like the foodcourt at Coronado Springs or not. It does have a good choice of things, but it seems expensive. And whilst I like the idea of getting a card stamped and paying as you leave, I really don't agree with the 10% service charge that is added on. What service?

ahhhh, what a peaceful drive to work. The 4 miles to school the girls were so quiet listening to the dvd...it was great. Wireless headphones! This is going to be great going to Gainesville. And...I got to rock out to Cabo Wabo!

Brrrr, cold today. We had a freezing fog last night - can't remember when last we had one here. Last time for us was up in Scotland maybe 10 years ago. The trees are white and the holly looks just beautiful all tipped in frost. The cobwebs are spectacular too. But.....brrrrrr!

we loved Coronado Springs....loved it! The pool area is great with a playground right there...it's the only resort with one that close. But I like the Spanish style theming as well. My mom and sister hated it.

I have to go to the hospital over the lunch hour today. They are rolling out credit card machines in the cafeteria. I am not sure how I will be able to help but I think they feel better if I am there to oversee it.

All our cows are inside for the winter! Well I did see 3 Highland(hardy long haired Scottish) cows the other day, but I guess they are used to being out in winter.

The sheep are out as usual though. Their feet must be frozen even though they have thick woolly coats on.

Has anyone ever stayed at Coronado Springs? I am thinking of staying there when Vanessa's sister comes from Norway next month?

We stayed there just after they opened. In fact the room we stayed in had never had anybody in it. It is my DH's favorite moderate.
