You know, I kind of felt the same way when I grew up. My parents were older (I was a "surprise" when they already had 2 teenagers) and by the time I came along they were just kind of "done" with all the lessons, classes and activities. I was feeling sorry for myself one day when it suddenly occurred to me, "You know, they have all those same classes for adults, too!" So I went and signed up for horseback riding lessons, then went on to take a singing class, then a tap class, and I never looked back. Tell him no one's stopping him from taking karate now!

I thought I was going nuts because I lost two pairs of glasses and now I have just lost my reading glasses too. I thought I was going nuts.....but came to find out it was Angel, the dog, taking them off my living room table and bringing them outside and chewing them up everytime I went to the bathroom. It was out of spite because she was jealous because the cat always came into the bathroom with me and I would shut the door and keep Angel out. She has been taking my bags of cheerios too. She just started doing this to my stuff recently. She used to do it to John's stuff. Now she has switched over to taking mine. What an odd puppydog she is. She's so bad.

Hi All.....well, I'm snowed in again.....about 6 inches.....just enough to keep me off the driveway unless it's plowed. John is still working on fixing the truck so that's no help right now. So I'm in the house unless I want to walk it and believe me....we don't want to do that. Talk about a work out!

Hi Deb. How are your legs. I guess you have been sitting with them elevated?

Sorry about the snow - at least it is the weekend now.

I have been buying so many things online for this trip. I broke down and bought the duffle bag that everyone else got. I had recently bought a new piece of luggage that's great for the cruise but not for the airlines.....it weighs too much and then I stuff it and I'm way over weight. So I bought the big rig 30 duffle bag because it weights much less and I can stuff it and not have to pay the additional I hope.

I bought so many other things too. I'll try to put up pics.

There seems to be some question as to what may or may not happen. Some have heard from DCL that what is available has been put on the site, so when they are gone they are gone. Others find it hard to believe that is the case (put me in this group). The only thing that seems to be in agreement about it is to keep checking (almost daily) for openings and then to also check on the 75 booking day to see if more have been opened up.

We were able to get what we wanted, but others have had varying results.

There WILL be reservations available for Palo's when you get onboard. Just make sure to go down Beat Street immediately to book, don't wait until after you eat lunch.

Remember, there are a lot more adults on this cruise that will enjoy going to Palo's since there are less kids on the cruise. However, there are also 15 nights, so don't worry too much, you will be able to get a reservation if you don't wait once on board.

OMG Deb, I have to say that is not funny but funny! You have a very sensitive and smart dog there!!! At least you know where they are going now!

Right, but if you both are at least able to BOOK Palo at near times you can go see PJ at the Palo booking spot when you board and get them at a table together. We did this in Dec. Had 4 people at 8 and 2 at 8:30 same night and PJ put them together for us. This is NOT our PJ, he is the dining manager at Palo. Very helpful.

PJ was my first head server, on the Wonder, I loves him . He is part of my DCL history.

I have not been sitting with them elevated. I've been bad. I fall asleep sitting up on the couch trying to watch tivo tv.....so I'm not watching tv, I'm not DISing, I'm not elevating.

I'm reading and reading trying to keep up, everytime I open my laptop I'm 25 pages behind and trying to catch up. No time for posting coz I'm doing too much reading.

It's all good. I love getting to know everyone and hearing all the stories of our lives.

The snow is so beautiful though, Marilyn....don't tell DH I said that.....he hates it severely because he has to be out in it.

Hi Gydell.....have fun at the circus. I know I had more fun with grands when they were younger at the circus than when I went as a little kid. You will too!

I have been doing a lot of reading to catch up and a lot of sleeping....trying to fight the swollen glands and sore throat that I've had.

Is she too funny and weird or what! She is super smart and understands everything but doesn't listen to me or John at all. She knows what we mean, but she's like the cat, she just doesn't care. Angel and Ella, the cat, are both like that with me and John.

Greg-what you need to do is go to a third party site (I use Photobucket.com) Open up a free account and then download the picture you want to put on the boards here. Then open up another window with the disboards and when you are replying, hit the little mountain picture at the top and then paste in the IMG from the photobucket window. Oh, and copy from the photobucket picture before you hit the mountain and then just paste.

Hopefully, I've walked you through it and it is now as clear as mud.
