We went from cold yesterday - 40's back to 70's today.

I tried to take this first week Amy is gone off . . . even with that I went into the office today for two hours . . . ughh!

We got the ice, so Sophia and I are staying inside, and eating leftovers from our past nights of eating out. Sophia had leftover Fet Alfredo from Macaroni Grill, and I had the loaf of bread with some olive oil - at least what Sophia would let me have!

John's ballgame was rained out and I called the rainout line and the head of the league had a message that said all Tuesday's games are rained out and boys go out and get your honey's Valetines gifts so you are not in the dog house come Thursday when you do have to play ball!

YES, I saw it, but it came after what I said. I have always gotten one from GS - I get it first thing. Maybe I should pack one this time. I do pack a "Monster" outlet expander, so that I am not taking up the whole outlet with my machine.

Hey not a problem. As I said in an earlier post, it is melting out here. We actually have puddles that are slowly turning into lakes. I see some guys are starting to put away the ice fishing rods and getting out the flys.

This morning it was in the teens, now it is 34 - so all the crap coming down now is freezing - I'm sure it will be melting tomorrow.

Does this mean I will have to hold my tummy in for ALL of the cruise now in case that camera makes an appearance!!!

Your on vacation - I will just take a flattering picture of you - or do what I do - put things in front of me - like a chair, a sweater - a person - Mickey!

What we like to do is turn the TV to the bridge cam. It gives off a bit of light but not enough to be a bother, and also, if you wake up, you can see whether it's day or night outside.

That's worked out excellent for us. Our "video" porthole!

Thanks. I read something I wrote at the funeral. It was tough not to cry during it.

Also, I know a lot of you gave me good wishes about booking the cruise and I wanted to thank you all - sorry I didn't respond to each one. I still am so excited, and know we are doing the right thing by going.

I haven't been able to catch up much, but read a little bit about Palo's. Am I on a list? I'm not sure if will be doing the group one or not for dinner, but I would like to get on a list if possible for Brunch. Anyone heard from Noel? I find it so odd that she hasn't checked in. Sounds like she might have canceled if she is no longer showing up on the linked reservations.

OK....Hi again! Tyler's been in bed for about 1/2 hour, I've shoveled, and am now ready to catch up, if my internet service cooperates. It's been out all day and just popped on, so I'm not sure if it will stay connected. Seems that whenever it's snowing, I have a really spotty connection, so I'm here as long as it lets me!

18 have said "no"
the rest said "don't know"

Pretty much every one who's indicated they'll have a fish extender have also indicated they want to be part of a gift giving group.

Lisa (Calmom) I'm going to email you the list so that you can compare it to those that have PM'd you. There may be a number of people who've not contacted you but said they'd like to be in a gift giving group.

Well, remember a few months back and I thought we were going to have to put Casey to sleep? We didn't as I got some good advise here, she was still eating fine and did have some good quality of life.

Well last night was a bad one for her. She gets up in the middle of the night and barks and gets lost in the house. Paul was up with her for 2 hours last night. I even woke up which is odd since I sleep thru everything.

I talked with Paul a bit ago and he wants to take her in this week

She is not doing well and really keeping him from sleep at night.

I'm so sad.

I do worry about leaving her with a pet sitter while we are gone on the repo, it's a lot to ask someone else to have to get up all night long with a crazy old dog.

Wish us luck...
