A couple of things about Vanessa...

1. She leaves Friday for Hawaii.....this is an exchange trip which she qualified for and she will be gone a week......how about that...one less mouth to feed for a whole week!!

2. Vanessa turns 18 on March 14th...which is the first day of spring break here. So for her birthday, her 16 year old sister is coming to visit for about 10days. Okay...I know you guys who know me will think I am totally crazy, but I think me and the 4 girls (Vanessa and her sister Rebecca and Annie and Gretchen) are going to WDW for a few days. I made Vanessa SWEAR she would not leave my side for 1 minute while we were there.....But it is what Rebecca really wants to do and it is Vanessas 18th birthday and she is away from her mom and dad.....so if I come home cussing and swearing....I have noone to blame except myself this time.

3. One task this week is we have to schedule Vanessa's airfare home after graduation.....I can not believe it is almost over.

I had DD try to book things for us from her school, their connection was faster. After several hours on the phone with me this morning, she swears she'll never forget my birthday again.

I"m SO ready to try to sleep, but it's almost time for Tyler's next dose of Tamiflu and Amoxicillin (9:30), so I might as well wait. He'll be waking up by then anyway to cough....probably a couple times before then. I did manage to find a cough suppressant lying around and I'll give that to him too so he can get some sleep tonight since puking is all over with. Oh! He got off the couch ONE TIME today to go get a drink out of the fridge, so that's an improvement. And he ate about 6 spoons of soup and it stayed down, so another tiny improvement. He's so frustrated with the cough and sore throat, but I assured him tomorrow he'd feel a tiny bit better. Still sick, but not as bad as last night for sure.

WERE YOU AWARE, HOWEVER, THAT DISNEY CRUISE LINE OUTSOURCES THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM???
That is why when it was doen for 5 days in December...you could do NOTHING!!! No ressies NOTHING...

I think we all overwhelmed whatever company they have... I imagine most of the whole ship does not try to sign on at once...

Hoping it's better at 75 days!!!

She is right. My Cousin worked in thier IT department and watched projects outsource and outsource and finally he and the last 5 or so programmers were laid off.

I locked my smarties up in the car and it is so cold here I won't go out and get them!!

This morning when I went to the hospital, it was 59 degrees...now it is 19 degrees and we are supposed to get close to ZERO tonight.

Hello guys.

First chance to get on again today.

After reading about all the terrible frustration, I did not even try.

I told my friends, if I cannot be with them in Palo for a dinner or brunch, I would rather be with them down in regular dining than by ourselves. Hopefully, there will be some availability when we board, or the private room request will come through.

Amy called today and agreed. She has settled down a bit - had a terrible and long experience in customs in Manilla (Kim, you would have lost it for sure) and almost lost her passport because of the pocket she put it in - it was hanging from the handle of her carryon. And she wonders why I insist on carrying all important stuff when we travel . . .

She called at 4:00am Monday in Manilla. It was 3:00 pm here.

Hope you all are having a better Sunday.

Oh, and BTW, where is Godoux? (did I spell that right?) Derick Anderson just threw an interception in the Pro Bowl game!

When we lived in Hawaii, we went to the probowl. Our oldest DD's Girls Scout troop got a donation for cleaning up trash in the stadium after the game.

WAY COOL about Vanessa's trip to Hawaii! She must be so excited!

No, I don't think you're crazy about the WDW trip. You've said that Vanessa has been behaving since that incident, so I'm sure you can trust her. Since she turned herself right around after that incident, I think that shows she respects you and your rules, and that would mean she wouldn't want to disappoint you again.

Holy cow, it doesn't seem like it would be almost time for her to go back home! It seems like she just got here.

Danke the award-winning dachshund is about to have puppies, and her owner Fran Garrison (Suzanne Pleshette) couldn't be happier, as she dreams of a litter of champions. However, things get a little bit mixed up when the vet talks Fran's husband Jim (Dean Jones) into allowing Danke to nurse Brutus, an abandoned Great Dane puppy. Fran constantly makes fun of the ungainly dog, but Jim wants to keep him, and things get really out of control when Brutus begins to think that he's a little lapdog like Danke!

I think Carol new little pup is a boy, so Danke is out, as is Chloe, the other dachshund's name.

But he could be a Brutus or how about Hercules.

Have you done that treatment before? Does it work? I'm interested.

I did it on my med cruise. I'll be honest, it wasn't what I thought it was, but yes it worked (temporarily). It was worth it to me. I am no shrinking violet. So I didn't expect to have my size 12(on a good day) turned into a 4! BUT, it did reduce the appearance of cellulite on my legs and in turn made me feel more comfortable. So, to me, that is worth the $$. Just know that you have to be comfortable naked...in front of the spa person. I was a little suprised, but soon got over it. I don't know if she did.
