That is my feelings too! I just hope I am still on a list somewhere that is all that matters - don't care who, how, when or where - just as long as I am on it.

Went to lo0ok but have thrown the letter.

PJ why don't you post that list on the board. it has been so long. Was it for 1 day 1 room or for 2 days....(14 people or 28 people?)

The room holds 14 and you need to be in touch 30 days before to get the reservation. I was told that no matter how early you faxed ...it is the ones that come in on the 30 day mark that are considered and no others. So if this list has already been faxed, it shouldn't make a difference. We will need to refax at the 30 day mark to be considered.

As Noel is in a suite....she might have a heads up to get this before those of us not in a suite. The dining group is very nice and I have dealt with them a number of times.

But, if we do not get to them on that 30 day mark...we will not get the room.

Lisa, I can say that is not true about the 30 days. For my October cruise I faxed in February and DCL called me to confirm, the Friday 4 weeks before my cruise, that I received the room, and that I had two days to submit my final list of attendees. I did not contact DCL in any way between submitting my request and Margot calling me for my final list. Yes i did have to re-submit my list at that point to confirm the attendees.

The Dinning group (Debbie) is not the same group that handles Palo. Inventory Control - Palo Specialist (Margot) does Palo reservations including the Private room. When she confirmed my October group she reminded me that I had a request for the May Repo. I now have a record with Inventory control, , I thought my recond with WDW Travel Company was bad enough,.

Other than the suites, it is first request first filled. I just did this for a room Dec 2007. I sent the fax in Feb 2007. I called at the 30 day point because others were getting assigned the room and I had not heard. I was told they start looking at the faxes they have received at 30 days and start assigning the room. Suites get them first, then the others are taken in order of receipt and it might take a few days. I got a call at 28 days asking if I still wanted the room. I did and they booked us all and removed our single reservations. They DO keep faxes they have received and do not insist that they be faxed and received on day 30.

Hello everybody - just posting so that I don't lose you guys again.

Just managed to look at the front page and it seems that some had trouble with reservations. To tell the truth, I had expected to have some but just got off looking and was able to book some excursions but did not look at PALO's.

Apparently DCL has managed to fix their problems?

Oh well, just dropping my two cents here.

At this point DCL has not confirmed either staggered meal times at each seating or just the two seatings. There have been DIsers told that there will be staggered meal times at each seating, by DCL reservations.

Good morning Cruisers!! (okay it is 2p, but I had to sneak away and get some sleeps)

I have 15 pages to catch up on, but after a quick glance it looks like many have now got at least some ressies.

I wanted to share ('cuz I know it mostly got lost in the craziness of last night) that about 5 minutes before midnight EST ... as I was sitting and waiting (im)patiently to book our ressies ... I checked my ressie and found that we had been given rooms, not just any rooms, but connecting rooms.

For our family of 5, this was the best news of the night.

Getting ressies (and all that was involved to get them) is great, but we can be a "family" onboard ... and that is the best news of all. Just wanted to share.
