Thank you! :thumbsup2 I really think the wierd stuff was temp related because that only happened each time it was 103. As soon as we got below that, around 101-102 it stopped. Now it's only 100! Woohoo! The doc called me back and told me it's best to let him keep coughing up the stuff since he's getting enough to spit out, but also said if he's not getting any sleep that I should give him Robitussin DM just so he can get a few hours of rest and then let him cough some more. So since the puking seems to have stopped, I will do that (if we have some onhand....I hope so).

Our oldest had hallucinations with fevers, she said some weird stuff.

Glad to hear the temp is down.

Mucinex is great for loosening up chest congestion. We even use it at the hospital under the generic name Guaifenesin.

Do you have a cool mist vaporizer. That can help loosen thing up as well.

I tried to log on just now and getting an error that the reservation system is down...anyone else or just me?

Me too. I called Disney and could only say that the system is very slow because of the high traffic right now and that I should wait 15 minutes and retry. I told them that Disney could afford a better system.

Dear Ginamarie- we hate you! We do not want to pull up your reservation. We do not want you to get any of the excursions/brunches you want. We are perfectly content making your life a living nightmare with our swimming fishies. Oh, have you seen the swimming fishies? Yes? If not, here's a whole screen of them, again! We want to make sure you never forget the way they look all pulled up together like Mickey ears. Don't worry, as soon as you're about to throw the laptop out the window for looking at all the fish, we'll change it up on you. We'll log you out of the system and give you the red message of death. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. In fact, give us another $200 and we will continue to provide you with the poor service you're becoming accustomed to. Thank you and have a magical day!

Gina, step away from the computer before you get out a hammer! :lmao:

More likely, DCL just wasn't paying attention. Drydocks are extrememly expensive to schedule last minute, so that's only done for ship emergencies. DCL keeps bulking us together with the rest of the "west coast cruises" (notice the generic booklet we got about our cruise a couple of weeks ago). That excursion will be available for the rest of the summer's cruises, so no one bothered telling us what was going on. So irritating!

Yes I know:sad2:

DID ANYONE GET:

Cabo - Nikki Beach
PV - Pirate cruise

just wondering....

Just found out that Pirate Cruise will be in drydock:sad2:
Cabo - Nikki Beach - I would love to book it but expensive but sold out

I selected a Palo brunch time last night and had it show up on "My Cruise Plans." I then tried to book a tea, also, but never got the available times to show up. I went to bed with the fish still swimming. They were still swimming this morning. I got out of the system and logged back in, and my brunch is now gone!

There are no brunch or tea times available. I am so angry, because it was listed on my schedule, and now it's gone! I just called DCL and was told that they are not even booking tea or brunch times now and to "try again tomorrow." Reading here, that's obviously BS, because a lot of you have tea and/or brunch. Moreover, my account is now "being serviced," so I can't even try to get dinner (while on hold this AM I got a dinner time, but it listed it as uncomfirmed and won't let me confirm it). Right now I am so annoyed it has sucked all the pleasure out of anticipating this trip. I know that will pass, but AAARRGGH.

Any suggestions?

I remember last year at Med Cruise as Palo, High Tea, Brunch sold out but keep checking it every day as you will see some cancel there.

Okay

I so understand. I ended calling DD at college and she was able to book thing s for us.

I've seen children's Mucinex. But I"m not sure I can get him out to the store. He got up for the bathroom a little while ago and that was about all he could manage. And no, we don't have a vaporizer.

Gina,

This really, really, really, made me laugh! :lmao:

Hot steamy bathroom will work, or boiling water in a bowl, lean head over bowl, put towel over his head and bowl and have him breath in.

Goodmorning all, well I got on immediately this morning, went through the whole booking - everything I wanted was available and then the dreaded error message. So, I guess I'm going to try to book one thing at a time.

Thanks! Will have to wait a bit though. He's feeling to lousy to really move or even sit up right now. Oh, I do have those Vicks Vapor plugins. I've used those on myself before and they're wonderful and make the whole house smell great too! :goodvibes

I know I'm getting loopy here, but listen to what the site is doing now...

trying to book an excursion in PV. It's telling me I have a conflict (I have NOTHING booked IN PV). It wants me to just send Olivia on the excursion alone. I'm sure she'd love to be at the beach by herself for 8 hours. Great job there DCL! Everyone wants a 2 year old traveling alone.:confused3

OK, for Puerto, does any one have an opinion regarding

Las Caletas Hideaway vs. Paradise Beach Adventure??

There's a lot more activities listed under Las Caletas, but are those going to cost extra on top of the already $89 price tag or are they included?

If I ever get back in to make the reservation we are going to do Las Caletas -I looked up their web site and massages are $25 per half hour and the clay modeling is $6 but all the food is included as is an open bar. I also read about the property and it has some neat history. This is what we are going to do with our $400 OBC from DU when we switched.

I had a few random thoughts (in my lack-of-sleep-stupor) …

We have ALWAYS booked Palo onboard (Rock’n Bar D) and gotten great spots for dinner and brunch … although we have never been lucky enough to get a tea spot before, this will be a first for us ... but even tea should be available since we have so many sea days on this cruise.

As far as those who did not make the OUTDOOR ADVENTURE in PV, we chose to book the Canyon Canopy Adventure (nearly identical activities, plus a few extra) in Cabo. The terrain is different in Cabo than PV (more rocky, less heavy foliage), but since we were excited to try Las Caletas in PV and so many DISers wanted the Outdoor Adventure, I didn’t want to add to the competition. Hope some of you can join us!!

I was tempted to book many excursions on my own (especially since I would get an additional discount by using my travel agent numbers), but I didn’t want the “worry” this trip. I am especially wary of booking directly at PV, since this is a port that is sometimes missed due to weather, currents, etc. If we miss the port, Disney will refund your $$, but since it is within 48hrs, many private tour companies will not. This is not common, of course, but it seems to happen in PV more than other Mexican ports (just my personal experience with my bookings). Surely not trying to worry anyone or jinx our cruise, but just wanted to recommend if you are booking privately, that you review the contract for if your ship does not make port, make sure you get a full (or at least high %) refund.

well I just keep getting asked to retrieve my reservation - plug in the number and stuff and then takes me back to the same page.

After an hour and half finally got on and got what I wanted and on the days I wanted! I got tea on the 18th so will have a couple of empty chairs if anyone wants to join me. There has to be a better way than staying up half the night!

gydell, if no one has spoken for one of your seats I would love to join you. I managed to get a brunch and dinner but no tea and I have not done this.

Carol

gydell, just read that you are full. If anyone has an open seat I would love to join them since I have never done a high tea and it is now closed. I was on until 1 Am got the brunch reservation I wanted, got frustrated and went to bed. Got up this morning and made the rest of our ressies at 7:30 no problem. The only thing I couldn't get was the Canopy Adventure in PV and a high tea. Said it was available but then got the error message that not enough room for my party of two.
