Lisa,

If PJ is eating at Palo with you guys, Daniel can take her seat with the Geeks for dinner (we are early dining). I am sure 4 little girls will keep him entertained! He can give them bowling tips!

That is so nice of you and I will remember. Daniel loves to hang around little kids and they love him as well. All of the mission work he has done is all around children!!

You know you are old when:

You get bored waiting for you birth year to scroll down on the DCL web site!

.

As we were scrolling down last night to book reservations, my dh said our birth year is almost where you run out of numbers. :lmao: :rotfl: :sad2:

I'm heading over to a get a massage from a friend who is a massage therapist. :dance3: She gave DrHug and I each a free massage for our anniversary back in Oct. We have not yet collected. I called her today and IT'S A GOOD DAY FOR HER and I certainly can use it!
Oh how wonderful.....perfect timing! Enjoy! :goodvibes

Can't think of a place to the left in the Hyatt (facing check in) but there is a big lounge area to the right. I think this sounds great.

Carol

hmmmmmmmm, maybe she did say right.....:rolleyes1

Well, I'm off the computer, time for a sit down in front of the telly.

.....later kids......

.

Linda I am so sorry this had to happen to you. I know how you feel. We have been robbed before too. It happen at our home several years ago. It's a feeling you never forget.

Does anyone remember the names of the dachshunds in the disney movie with Suzanne Pleshette? I think the movie was "the ugly dachshund"

From Yahoo movies . . .

Danke the award-winning dachshund is about to have puppies, and her owner Fran Garrison (Suzanne Pleshette) couldn't be happier, as she dreams of a litter of champions. However, things get a little bit mixed up when the vet talks Fran's husband Jim (Dean Jones) into allowing Danke to nurse Brutus, an abandoned Great Dane puppy. Fran constantly makes fun of the ungainly dog, but Jim wants to keep him, and things get really out of control when Brutus begins to think that he's a little lapdog like Danke!

Hmmm.....I'm thinking it's time to break into the Smarties! Might as well live it up and enjoy my time another evening because I suspect I'll be in Tyler's shoes in a couple days. His dad stopped over today for a bit and he's already getting sick! He said he's been sleeping almost nonstop since dropping Tyler off here yesterday and his whole body just aches. And if he has it, Sheilah will probably get it about the same time. I should be delayed by a couple days because I assume they were exposed first.

Anyone looking to scrapbook last night I found the perfect embellishment:

I locked my smarties up in the car and it is so cold here I won't go out and get them!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This morning when I went to the hospital, it was 59 degrees...now it is 19 degrees and we are supposed to get close to ZERO tonight.

When I was around 11 we brought a wired haired Dachshund back from Germany with us. At the time there were only 6 others in the US. Loved him, he was a great dog. My grandparents on my dad's side always had a smooth. Well, being German how can they be anything but stubborn. :rotfl: :lmao: Being of German heritage myself we will see who wins. :rotfl2:

I really am sorry about this, but I'm gonna have to put my money on the Dachshund.:thumbsup2 :rotfl: They are pretty determined, and look up at you with those big hound eyes-hard to resist! But you are very lucky to have such an adorable looking puppy. Vicki

Smart idea locking them up! :rotfl:

Brrrrrr! Quite a drop in temp for you!:scared1:

Okay, so I don't have the heart to go back and read every post since last Friday afternoon, so if I've missed something just let me know.

Friday night my purse that had my wallet, my planner, and basically my whole organized life was stolen from me. So I have spent the last two days cancelling everything and changing every password on the internet and anything I can possible think of. By the time I cancelled my business credit card, the thieves had charged $60 to Pizza Hut and $46 to Dominoes. Guess they wanted a pizza party at 1 a.m. in the morning. Then they tried to use it to put gas in their vehicle, but they didn't know my company's pin number so it was declined.

I think by the time they tried to use all my other cards (probably immediately after that) I had already been on the phone with all my credit card companies, cancelling everything.

Went to bed at 3:30 a.m. or so and then got up at 6 a.m. and started back up on the internet again. Went to bank at 9 a.m. and had to close my accounts and open new ones and all that fun stuff.

Then had to go to my office and have my property manager let me in so I could get to my desk. She had to change all the alarm codes and pass codes into the building just to be safe. And of course, my office keys were in my purse, so they were long gone too.

Then spent the next couple of hours cancelling our company's Sam's and Costco accounts, so now I get to tell all the staff tomorrow that they get to go get new cards issued.

Then I spent more time on the internet.

I keep thinking of more things as I have time.

I lost my WDW passes and have been working with Guest Services to get those, but now I have to go back through a bunch of my paperwork to find some stuff.

So, the last thing I did today was go onto Disney Cruise Line because I need to change my email address for the 2/28 cruise. But then, I didn't have the number so I called DCL and she gave it to me and gave me the 5/10 cruise too. About that time, I remembered that last night at midnight was when I could start booking everything.

So, got off the phone with DCL and immediately went into the 5/10 cruise and everything I was suppose to book was gone. (including Palo's). That was when I had a meltdown and broke down and started crying. Looked at the spa and the first thing I saw was "Alone time" and debated about booking that! But I didn't...........so I ended up not booking anything, and will just keep watching and make a note in my planner (the new one I haven't bought yet) for the 75 day mark when something might open up again.

After my meltdown, I decided it was time to get off the computer, so I cleaned my living room and vaccuumed, and went downstairs to the craft room for a few minutes.

Now, I decided to get on the disboards and share my news. All I can say is my life has been turned upside down. I am making a list with everything I can think of and as I change everything I am putting it on an excel spreadsheet and it is getting locked up in our safe. that way I'll have one list with everything in one place.

The good news....I haven't been able to spend any money all weekend (not that I have had time) because all my credit cards and cash are gone! I had two gift cards in my wallet and I was able to dig up the receipts and go back and get them cancelled and reissued. The last thing I wanted was those thieves getting another $125 out of me!

The bad news....I had just bought some ribbon at Joann's Friday night earlier in the evening and they stole my ribbon! It was for the scrapbook pages. Really made me mad.

The good news.....I had just taken my camera and cell phone out of my bag and set them down in the car and when they grabbed my purse out of the car (and I was only about 30 feet away), they didn't get my expensive camera or purse.

The bad news....tomorrow I get to spend my time at the driver's license office getting a new drivers license.

Okay, that's my news for now. Things can only get better from him. I only had about $45 cash in my purse (thank goodness). Sometimes, I stash some extra money in hidden places, but luckily I had it in my bedroom and not in my wallet!

Oh-they have all my insurance cards, my DVC card, my Castaway Club Card, Disney Dining card, etc., etc.

Besides that.....life is PEACHY KEEN!

Okay, starting tomorrow I'll try to check in each day!

I am so sorry to hear this! I have lost my purse before and know it can be horrible to deal with. I hope you do not have anymore problems with any of your lost cards. If you do not mind me asking where were you when they did this and did you actually see it happen? Hopefully things get better for you with your ressies too.

Lisa, how's Vanessa feeling?

Oh she is fine. She started on the meds.....but for a few days when she has to pee....watch out as she dashes for bathroom...she will knock you over.

She says it really hurts.....so she decided to go shopping!! Typical teenager...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

She is doing math homework now. I wish my kids did their homework like she does......

What an absolute nightmare Linda!

I grabbed it but was going to cancel it. It is May 23rd @11am. No way I would go alone LOL.
Take me, take me!

Linda, so sorry to hear about the theft. I feel your pain!

I was reading some of the weather posts and have to say today was beautiful out on the west coast. I spent alot of time outside with the neighbors, enjoying the sunny warm day. FINALLY! After 10 days of rain, it was nice to see the end. We're not used to that out here:rotfl:

I am also going to change my spa time to 6 or later. That should get me to the deck party and the lifeboat drill. AND, I'll still make dinner!

Sounds like she's good natured about the whole thing and it's not holding her back from anything important! :thumbsup2
