A wild and crazy tour aboard the Marigalante, a real pirate ship that features pirate shows, singing, swordfights, and a 2-hour stop at Majahuitas Beach for snorkeling, beach volleyball, banana boat rides, kayaking, and a delicious lunch. The tour starts with a full breakfast with pancakes, and eggs, fruit and cereal. The bar opens up almost immediately afterward, as you're treated to audience participation games and a pirate show on the boat ride to Majahuitas. On the beach, beer and soft drinks are served continuously as you enjoy beach activities or snorkel while the staff entertains the kids with a treasure hunt, tug of war and other fun just-for-kids activities. We were able to sign up for excursions at the 105 mark and the pirate ship was not available then either. It sounds like a good explanation as to why it was unavailable at that date.

OH MY! Sleep at last! OK...I probably only have 20 minutes, so sleep or eat? Hmmm......EAT I guess because 20 min isn't enough to eat. Bye for now! Food, here I come! :yay:
LOL! I meant 20 minutes isn't enough time to SLEEP. Good grief, I think I've had more typos last night and today than in my entire life!

Ok - I just got our last excursion - Acapulco Highlights, Shopping and Cliff Divers at 12pm.

We had wanted to the Petro tour but not at 5pm. We would miss dinner and the deck party.

And how much can you see after dark?

The on-call doc just called me back. No Tamiflu for me. He can't call in meds for somebody he's never seen and told me I'd have to wait until my regular doc can see me or until I can call. I don't have a regular doc because my prior one retired, so they just have me see whoever's available whenever I need to go for something. Good grief! It's not like I'm asking for morphine!

Hey Lisa, we're on that with you!

what has happened? not one post in 20 minutes? I am still working on some spa ressies.

finally!!! :cool1: i got all of the excursions i wanted. i had to settle on a palo dinner time and no brunch. i'm glad to say i'm no longer swimming.:fish: i still need to print my stuff off but i am too tired at this point.:headache:

. . . I was tempted to book many excursions on my own (especially since I would get an additional discount by using my travel agent numbers), but I didn’t want the “worry” this trip. I am especially wary of booking directly at PV, since this is a port that is sometimes missed due to weather, currents, etc. If we miss the port, Disney will refund your $$, but since it is within 48hrs, many private tour companies will not. This is not common, of course, but it seems to happen in PV more than other Mexican ports (just my personal experience with my bookings). Surely not trying to worry anyone or jinx our cruise, but just wanted to recommend if you are booking privately, that you review the contract for if your ship does not make port, make sure you get a full (or at least high %) refund.
Good advice, Karen.

On the 2005 Eastern PC, we booked privately for Cabo San Lucas. We missed that port due to Hurricane Hillary. Even though the tour company had a full refund policy, and after many emails and phone calls, and promises to refund our money, we never received a dime.

I was right. He only slept 20 min. But after a couging fit, went back to sleep, so I'm headed to see if I can get a 20 min nap too. 20 min is better than none. Then I'll have to see if I can get him in the car so we can go get some Vicks and Mucinex. Hate to drag him out when he hasn't even been able to get off the couch....not even sitting up today, but I haven't been able to reach any of my friends to ask if they'd make a trip for me. Maybe his dad can bring stuff. Will see after nap.

Actually thought of Prince Charming this morning while laying in bed but forgot until you mentioned it again. Will have to run that by DH. At least we have some time to get what he needs. It has been almost 17 years since we have had a puppy.

Here are some pictures.

Carol

Awww Cute

I think you are right about that!

Sea Lions: for those that booked on your own, what times did you book. I think I'll go ahead and book this on my own and would like to know there are other DISers in the time slot.

Cabo: Harbor cruise & drive:

I'll be starting a list as I read through the posts, but I think I may have already missed some one. IF YOU GOT THE 8:30AM, would you PM me and I'll keep a master list.

back to catching up (only on page 7)

Well this morning I booked the Harbour Cruise then checked tonight as it went disappear so I had to rebooked it again. So just me andmy husband.

We were able to sign up for excursions at the 105 mark and the pirate ship was not available then either. It sounds like a good explanation as to why it was unavailable at that date.

Ah I see

Well, just went on the DCL site to make sure all my stuff was still there (it is) and to verify that I'm still in a lifeboat (I am).

OK, now do I go through a big old pile of mail or take a nap???

Thanks! Will have to give him that hug later. He doesn't want to be touched much other than rubbing his back. He told me earlier not to kiss him on his face because he doesn't want me to catch his cold, so I told him it's called the flu and it's much worse than any cold. He asked me if people can die from the flu because he says he sure feels like that could happen. :sad2: I told him he'll be fine in lots of days.

Angie,

The email address I used then was:

tom.mcalpin@disney.com

If he is a smart man, he probably changed his email address after the last fiasco with the charges!

He would have been wise to do that!!!;)

Why aren't things simple?:confused3

Everyone was napping, making up for last night!!:lmao:

I wish we did. Guess it could be anytime, though someone reported a CM as saying it will be at check in!!:sad2:

Umber, DCL has stated right up until check-in at the port you may not know your room number. More realistically when you get your Docs about 10 days before sailing, should be the lastest.
