So what is Ballroom Under the Stars?

Ah, now that's a mystery to us all. I think it is something that DCL is doing for us and it's new. So, your guess is as good as any of ours.

Another question; I think I read somewhere about a group for the kids going on this trip? Does anyone know if there will be a lot of teens? Last time my kids got to be really great friends with a couple of the other teens. In fact my DS still corresponds with one friend he made on the cruise. It was kind of nice because there were only a couple of dozen of them so they all had a great time!

I can't help with this, as I'm traveling with DH, no kids here, But I have seen some teen activities listed on the DCL page under the excursions.

Okay, so this is what I mean. I don't mean to be ignorant, but what do you mean? What's PM? (I feel really stupid!)

PM = Private Message.

You can send a note to a person on the disboards that only they can see. It's kinda like internal e-mail for here at the disboards. Just click on a person's name on the side of their post and you get a list of things you can do with that person, a PM is one of them.

Welcome aboard and keep asking questions! The folks here are a chatty lot but VERY friendly.

We are not sure. This is something new they are adding for this cruise. It is on a formal night though so we have fantasized about dancing under a moonlit sky on deck with twinkling lights all around. But we will have to wait to really know.

So there are 2 formal nights? Yikes, I'll have to go shopping. I know for some, including my dd, that sounds delightful, but for me it's incredibly stressful! If I could only lose a bunch of weight before this cruise......(It seemed like it would be so easy a year ago....)

Three of us answering the same question! The website that PJ has lists who is going and their ages I think. This is a large group so I am sure there are kids of all ages. There was a Yahoo mail group someone had set up for the kids many months ago, but I think it was not active since it was so long to the cruise. I recall there was talk of reviving that for them.

If you are not using IE to open it, try. I had alot of problems using mozilla and I switched to IE. Now it's only slow when dcl is having issues. I checked mine tonight and it came up.

Yep, 2 formal and one semi-formal. There are several who are trying to loose some pounds and then there are some of us (me!) that should but is doing nothing about it. And yes, you need to go shopping!!

That sucks....I'd call dcl tomorrow and find out whats going on. You need to make sure you have access tomorrow to reserve your port activities.

I think I'm going to try and have my sister log-in to my reservation first so I can determine if it is my computer or my reservation (gonna assume it's not the accoutn as I have 3 different ones I've been trying - 2 for me and 1 for Darrell - all with the same results).

Oh, man! Ever wish you could hire a size model to go shopping for you so you didn't have to try on all those clothes that don't fit right to find the one that does? She could only bring home the ones that actually fit and you could try those on to see which ones you like!

It's 2/10 at midnight for east coast, 9pm on 2/9 for west coast.
