My plans today are to clean the house (realtor coming tomorrow to "re-stratagize" sale of the house) and then out to dinner tonight with our girls and families for DrHug and DD#2 birthdays. DrHug was the 5th and DD#2 is the 11th. We have a local restaurant that gives free pie to everyone in your party if you come for dinner in your birthday month. :thumbsup2 So, dinner and yummy birthday pie all around! :cool1:

Belated Happy Birthday to Dr Hug.
:bday:

Lisa(calmom)-I'm sorry about your grandma:hug: I hope your trip goes smoothly.

Deb- I hope your legs are better....I'm glad you caught it early...hopefully it will go away quickly this time....congrats on all of this time without a cigarrette...hang in there:hug:

Dr. Hug- Happy Birthday:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Have not caught up and probably will never but hope I didn't miss much. Just got back to the gym so need quick shower(I feel pretty yucky but I went) then head to volunteer at DS class. DH volunteered at DD class this am that made the year for her:goodvibes We had our 11 year wedding anniversary last night and went to the Melting Pot ...that was nice of DH...I told him the cruise was enough but he arranged it as a surprise for me:love: Getting my house ready for DS birthday party next Friday:eek: Still not ready. Well, hope everyone is well and getting ready for this cruise...can't wait to meet everyone...we are going to have fun!:dance3:

Happy Anniversary!! What a great DH...and the Melting Pot (yummy)

When I go to a weekend crop in NC in June I always take these and everyone loves them. I didn't realize until then that they aren't really available around the country.

Do you think I can carry these in my carry-on? or do they count as a liquid?

I usually buy them in the airport after security but the terminal we are flying out of on this trip doesn't have a See's stand in it.

Good question. I dont think they would be counted as a liquid. Hum, the only thing that might be a problem is if you got the kind where the box is already wrapped. But I guess that going through security they would see that it's candy in the box.:confused3 And I didn't know that some airports have see's stands. How cool is that. Do you know if LAX has one? We are flying out of there on delta.

For all you crocs lovers:

For those of you who are interested the Pirate and Princess Party on the 9th May is definate!

Can I get more info on this please??

My aunt wants to go to Seaworld on May 9th, but my wife and I aren't sure about it. We love Seaworld, but we are in WDW for such a short time, another day in the parks might be nice. This might be a nice add on.

I thought the Parties only ran until the end of March?

There was rumour of it going till July, but it is now official. Have a look here for details. Looks fun.

It is a really big piece of cake....

There was an article on our news last week looking at items people buy 'on the run' instead of eating breakfast. One of them was a chocolate muffin - 750 or so calories!!! Now that is half the daily recommended calories for a woman.

I haven't flown out of LAX in a long time. San Diego has a couple of them. In fact that's where I first got the idea to take them to the crop. Talking to my sister she mentioned everyone always brings a munchie to share. Well I was getting in that night and the crop was first thing in the am so I wandered the airport for inspiration (she did offer to find something for both of us - but I thought something from CA would be nice). and that's when I discovered them. Not a huge selection - several different 1lbs assortments and Monica's chocolate lollipops. Prices weren't any different than the regular store too!

And most muffins you buy already prepared are more than one serving!!! :scared1: (Which most people don't realize)

Hey Jackie. What's this about being the official keeper of the tag fairy-tale book?

Years ago I used to post bed-time-stories on the Tagliarcy thread on the CB, so I was awarded the "keeper of the book" title. Hey....it was something to do between WDW vacations ;)
