Anyone read 'The Path Batween the Seas'? I am trying, but it is a hard slog. I imagine some may really love it. I am thinking of skipping to the building part and see if that is a help, but I really am thinking I am going to give up on it.

DH has read it, says it's very good. I plan to read it too, just haven't got around to it yet.

Anyone booking a ladies tea on 5/18.....don't forget to book for as many adults as you have in your party, even if they're men. I'm booking my ladies tea for me and John. Then I will change John's name on the reservation to one of the ladies that didn't get to reserve......so we can have as many ladies as possible attend.

Actually, we won't have to change any names on the reservation(s) once we've made them. DCL doesn't care who shows up, they just need to know what stateroom to charge if no one shows up! When it comes time to 'pay' we can each just use our own KTTW cards to pay.

.....now I'm thinking...nap first...then do mail/pay bills....my eyes are getting veeeerrrrrrrrry tired....

ON LINE BOOKING QUESTION.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, as I've never used the 'favorites' list before. Is this list just as a reminder for you of the things you want to book, or is there some way you use this list to actually access/enter that excursion more quickly once your booking window is open?



Also Acapulco Excursions: Has anyone taken a look at Shopping, Flavors & Traditions? I'm thinking about this one and it would be more fun to do it with someone. It meets all my requirements, under 4 hours, includes the words 'air conditioned motor coach' and 'lunch'. There's a cooking demonstration, folkdance exhibition and fashion show...followed by shopping. Sounds like a nice break after four days on the ship.

The Blackberry my company gave me last week was the WORLD. I am getting pretty used to it and can DIS pretty good on it. Keep trying.

It is one of the nicest phones I have ever had. It has great reception, and I love getting my email on it. However, the screen on it is smaller than most Blackberries, and trying to view a web page like the DIS is tough. The typing is another matter, one that I am sure just requires some practice.

If during the cruise you are boarding them make your reservations as early as possible! while the beginning is not a holiday we are gone over a holiday weekend and that fills up quickly. I made mine several weeks ago and they said that weekend is really filling up.

For me this is early as I normally forget to call untill the last minute - which sometimes had been a problem!

We are croc converts here. DrHug thought they looked just ridiculous and said he would never wear them. I bought him a pair of cheap knock offs and he started wearing them around the house for slippers. He loved them and started wearing them to work. He stands up to 12 hours in the pharmacy with no breaks, no sitting down and his back and feet used to hurt him terribly after a couple of long days. I bought him a pair of croc a few months ago to replace the knock offs and I don't think he will ever wear anything else! He does still wear dress shoes with his suit, of course, but other than that he is in his crocs. He is pretty conservative though and only does black!

Next thing I am going to hear he had that surgery and was neutered!

It comes on tape? I ordered in the paperback edition and it is the same size as the hardcover, . I am about a 1/3 of the way through the book now.

Yes, but for brunch they can accomodate in the group room and I believe there were several requests faxed in months ago for the group room. 14 persons per request. Noel and Kim were working on that. Maybe Kim will know if we still are planning this.

I'm pretty sure Noel faxed the brunch request in months ago. I'm going to try to reserve a brunch date tonight as well, just in case, it's good to have a back up.

For the tea, they told me that they do not use the private room for teas. They have a small group of 4 people max to a table. So we're all on our own but doing it at the same time to get the max number of our ladies possible, all on the same date.
