Max pass for photo pass?

We are leaving on Friday for first trip to DL!
We are a family of 5 and will have 5 day park hoppers. I see no reason for us to spend $250 on Max pass but wondering if we should for only one person for the PP?? Will it mess things up if one person has MP and not the rest of the party? Or do we just get PP?

I went with a PP+ for a week. I figured it would be easier than individual days.
Seemed easier in the long run for a week at Disney.

I know the PP+ is $78 online vs daily MP for one person in the group.

We were at DLR last week and also had 5-day park hoppers. We were originally going to purchase the week long Photopass package, however one of the employees at the camera shop on Main Street told us to just have one person buy Max pass every day to save $28 if all we wanted to use was the Photopass option. You just had to remember to make the purchase via the Disneyland app every morning once we had entered the park.

Here now -- bought MP yesterday for me only for this very reason. Worked great and didn't cause any problems w paper FP.

If the one person who has MP continues to pull FP from the kiosks with the rest of the family, it won't mess up your family. They will have options available to them (like pulling an earlier FP via the app), but they won't be forced to use those advantages.

ETA: We have AP's and I plan to add MP to one of them just for the pictures. Still undecided on the rest.

So I just nee to purchase MP every morning after I have scanned into the park?
