Any tips for which seats to avoid on the Matterhorn for tall people? My husband is 6'2" and long legged, sometimes has trouble with his knees on rides. I've heard horror stories and just thinking if I can get him to at least avoid the worst seats for him I might get him to ride it more than once.
Thanks!

I don't know which seats to avoid, but seat 3 might work for him. Last time I rode, I got seat 3. For a short person, it was torture. My legs couldn't get a good grip and I coudn't comfortably reach the bar on the seat in front of me. The side grips were just too far back to be comfortable, as well. Lesson well learned -- never sitting in that seat again! Also, my 6' DH managed well in seat 4, but thought that my seat would have fit him better.

I'm 5'11" with long legs, and a CM finally taught me the trick that makes the Matterhorn enjoyable again! When sitting down, tell him to cross his legs. If he tries to stick his left leg in the left leg slot and vice versa, he won't be comfortable and will have a really bumpy ride. But by crossing his legs into the opposite slots, I found I fit better and was able to ride multiple times without issue!

We had been to Disneyland a number of times over the past 20years and each time the Matterhorn had been down. This time we were determined to ride it. My husband is 6'4 and I was concerned about his comfort. A CM walked over to him and said that he should ride in the front as it would be most comfortable for him. At the end of the ride he said it was a bit cramped but he was fine and enjoyed it.

DH, 6'5" rode in the back. He was cramped and miserable. He said it's not built for people that tall and he wished the CMs would've told him not to ride it.
