Here's my scenario:
We are going to Universal for the first time during spring break dates for this are March 26-28.
March 26th just me and my daughter will be going to the park.
March 27th and March 28th my husband is coming with me and my daughter because I can't take those simulator rides they make me feel so sick.
However, my husband is a huge pain in the a$$ when it comes to crowds and lines so I am desperately trying to figure out a way that I won't strangle him on this trip.
My sanity overrides costs, to an extent for this trip.
So, I was thinking for the dates my husband is with us March 27th -March 28th I will need early admission and express passes and the most cost effective way of getting both is reserving a room at an onsite preferred hotel.
Of the three preferred, I think my daughter would Love HRH since she is a bass and guitar player at School of Rock and knows all the rock legends featured at the hotel.
HRH price for an overnight is 439+tax.
but if I upgraded my Undercover Tourist 2 day park to park (with one day free ticket) to a season pass it would bring the cost of the room down to $284.99 + tax.
Undercover tourist ticket cost me $250.26.
So here's my questions(s):
Is it true, as people have posted, that I can upgrade my UT ticket to a season pass?
Does it make financially sense?
(I think it would save me alittle more than $100 if I booked the room with a season pass rate but I'm not certain if I am crunching these numbers correctly.)
Thanks everyone for your help!
