Massive Wall of Humanity truing to Exit to TTC tonight June 9

Monorail was down tonight. Massive wall of people with about
an hour wait for the ferry. Typical?

I have and sometimes management makes announcement to alert guests to “enjoy the Main Street shopping “, etc…to avoid long lines for transportation to return to your resort or parking lot. Of course , they make it sound more professional without admitting to anything .

Tonight, they were trying to move people oit because of the cast memver evening. At 2 hoira after park close, they are nowhere near clearing rhe backlog.

Very true. We either try to be early to the bus or sit back and enjoy and head to the bus in an hour. If you miss the early exodus, you might as well wait as the line has already built.
After dinner 1 night, we walked from GF to MK. The area in front of what normally is tap into the MK was row after row of people in line for the monorail or the ferry. Luckily the line to our bus wasn't bad.

They were suggesting people go to the busses. But several people near us said they had stood in the bus line for an hour, packed and hot, and it never moved. So they came and stood for an hour in the ferry line, which was moving.

Yes. That's what I was thinking. I'd definitely do it if that happens again. One thing I hate on my Disney vacations is waiting ridiculous amounts of time for transportation.

Yes, you could walk but it's a long one.

We were incredibly impressed at how patient everyone was. Children were great, people made way for scooters and wheelchairs, and it was the best possible version of a tired crowd. It was fun to watch the CMs streaming in for their night of fun, which I imagine was part of the whole collapse . I would not stay till park close on an earidescent evening.

Thanks for confirming. Yeah I would guess it would take me 45 mins - 60 mins to walk anyways but I’d at least feel like I was doing something… lol.

I would not stay till park close on an earidescent evening.

We are long gone by then. I’ve learned it’s best for my sanity to not stay till park closing on any evening, especially at MK. Just not worth the inevitable hassle.
