Massachusetts DVC members?

Live in Westborough, but call BWV 'home'!!! Hi you guys in N. Grafton and Millbury!!!!!

Love the reference to Stonehill - alum from '93! Also to the Millbury and Grafton folks - do you wonder ever wonder what you did before the new Shoppes of Blackstone Valley came?? I know I sure must have had more money before then!!!!

A MA directory would be cool!

Pooh's Pixie - too funny, most people don't know where Ware is. Where are you from, Ware, where????? :confused3

You guys crack me up. This is another Western MA town, just northeast of Palmer (exit 6 on the pike). Route 9 runs through it. :lmao:

Simba'smom - I don't think that hotel is still there. Ware is the place, however, of WMass' only Super Walmart. All of the other Walmarts in the area (and there are not that many of those  ) do not have the grocery store.

Come to think of it, I think that's the only super store in WMass. No super target like we see in FL.

:rolleyes1 My street was a lot quieter...it did not take me 5 minutes and a Hail Mary to get out of my driveway...I could play ball with the kids in the front yard without fear of being run over...can you guess where I live, lol??? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Very cool that there are others near me and in the same town!

Edited to add...OKW and VWL here.

My sister used to live near Ware..in Palmer. We used to shop for our kids at the Ware factory outlets(Carter's, OshBGosh) a long time ago. Now we live near Six Flags New England...Agawam.

I was in mourning the day my "baby" grew out of me being able to shop there! I loved that place. Hmmm maybe I could add to my future grandchildren bin... :rotfl: ;)

Oh Winniedapooh - is it that road with the potholes everywhere??? I can't remember the name of it but it has the nice nursery place closer to the Auburn line??

We don't ususally take that road because people fly around those corners but I swear everytime we drive by there we comment on how much the people living there must hate the new shopping.

It is really cool to see MA so well represented. I keep meaning to buy one of those DVC ovals for the car to see if anyone ever comments when we are out!

Magsmom - I hear great things about that SuperWal-Mart - need to make a trip out there. How sad is it that the only one I've ever been to is the one near WDW???? That was by far the nicest Wal-Mart I've ever been too - finally one to beat the Sturbridge one!!!

Take care MA neighbors :wave2:

Hi Magsmom and Simba's mom,

Talked with my cousin yesterday and the Ware Valley Motel still exists, though supposedly not as creepy. There is a pretty good ice cream/hotdog and hamburger place attached. Jeannine's. and it's on route 9.

Magsmom, take exit 8 though Palmer to get to Ware. and it cracks me up in a town the size of Ware that there's a super Walmart. Going to stock up this weekend when visiting mom.

Great thread.

hi champagne...nope it is the other busy road off of 20... :teeth: ooooh a DVC oval to match my OOB one... :goodvibes

Another member from Wakefield (Montrose area) and also graduate of MA state college system (FSC '85 and SSC '97). Spend alot of time in the Tewksbury/Billerica area as my DD goes to a cheer gym there 3 times a week!!!

A MA DVC directory would be awesome and helpful in the event if a member wished to trade/rent points!!!

Ahh Winniedapooh - the one that you turn off 20 at the McDonald's? I'm sure that was a quiet little street before. I went up that way last year taking the kids to an apple orchard over that way - very pretty neighborhoods - always surprised how "rural" it is a hop away from Rte 20!

Can you all believe the ran again?? I hear the rest of the weekend is supposed to get warm though - Happy Memorial Day to all!

OK champagne you either went to BIL orchard or his uncle's. lol! It is a small world after all...the road drives us nuts now, I keep telling DH I want to move to the back woods of Maine with no noise other than the trees and nature! :teeth:

Do we really want a MA directory? I don't mind typing it up if there is interest. What would we list - Dis name, real first name, email, town and DVC ownership maybe? It would be pretty cool to see how many of the 5200+ MA members actually come to this board!

If anyone is interested - let me know.

Hope everyone had a nice long weekend!

Is that Stow Orchards or possibly Hawk Hill?? Had a really good friend who lived right across the street, on W. Main St.(at least that's the street name I believe) from Hawk Hill. Of course, I could be getting my orchards confused!!!

Here's a quick review of our trip.Arrived on the 19th,everything went great until tues the 23rd when daughter woke up throwin and goin. We took her to Florida Hosp in Celebration on thurs the 25th,she was having severe stomach pain from being dehydrated. Left on fri the 26th, about a half hour before we are to board, daughter is sick all over me. I say that's OK,I'll clean up and be home in a few hours. WRONG!!!!! American flight 212 4:00 is delayed for weather,10 min later,no wait,it's mechanical. Everybody off,we'll get you out about 7:30. We have to board quickly or we won't take off. 8:15-Everybody off,It took too long to refuel so now the flight attendants are illegal and can't fly.We can get you out about 11:30. Finally get home about 4:30 AM. Thought sick daughter would sleep half the day WRONG-woke up at 8:30. Took her to Winchester Hosp Sat night, there til 1:00 AM. Now on Mon-other daughter is sick now. HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! All we can do is :lmao:
