Any good ideas on how to get to Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church for Mass on Sunday, September 24th other than Mears?

Staying @ Pop Century.

Is that the church that is on the same road as the Premier Outlets? If so, its near DTD. You could always take a bus to DTD then take a cab. It should be a quick trip so it shouldn't be that costly.

Or skip the DTD bus and take a cab from your resort. I wouldn't think it would be too expensive.

We always take a cab. They're usually lined up in front of the resort. Cost is about $15-17 each way.

You don't tell us where you're staying, but at any rate I'd think a taxi would be the preferred method.

How about a one day car rental? Get it at one of the Disney property rental places. Then you could have the use of the car for other off-property stuff for that day also.
Or, post a thread asking if any other DISer with a car will be at Pop the same Sunday and you could hitch a ride?

We were able to get a mid size car through Alamo at the Dolphin for $24.00. with all the codes. It was cheaper than a taxi and gave us the ability to go other places. It only took a minute to rent it. We just went over from Epcot ( nice walk) got the car and then returned it the next day. We went to Boardwalk from there. It was very easy and nice to have a car for the day. Returning is a breeze. You just give the keys to the valet and they give you a receipt and you are on your way.

Just returned.

We rented a compact car at the Dolphin from Alamo for one day - $26.86.

A cab would have been about $18.00 each way so the car was a good deal plus we were able to go to the Florida Mall and spend some time on International drive. (Perkins for breadfast and Unos for supper.)
