Mary Poppins?

First, thank you to all of you who have given me tips on finding characters at DLR!!!! I am so excited to take my daughter for her first visit to Mickey's first home.

My daughter is, well, obsessed with Mary Poppins. I know every spot to find her at WDW. But does she appear at DLR for meet-and-greets as well? DD met her at WDW, but this DLR trip is a surprise birthday visit, and I have a friend who might be able to create a Mary dress for DD just in time for our trip. I know that DD would be thrilled to (1) have a Mary Jolly Holiday dress and (2) get a picture with the Mary in her Jolly Holiday dress.

Please let me know if there are regular Jolly Holiday meet-and-greets with Mary at DLR! Thank you so much!!!

I to am a Mary fanatic and I jumb with joy whenever I see her. We have always seen her right near where you go under the bridge as you enter DL. Most of the time she is with Bert too!! If she is not there, she is usually somewhere around there. I've heard she can be sometimes found at Musical Chairs also! Good luck and have fun!! I hope your DD gets her Mary dress, that'd be so awesome!!!

Be sure to check with City Hall to find out when Mary Poppins will be out in the park. Also, the parade has a beautiful Mary Poppins float, so be sure to watch the parade if you can.

We got to see her twice.... she and bert were just walking rather than a real stop and meet and greet. She never stopped just said hello and signed autographs as she was walking.

As pp said you can see her in the parade as well.

I've heard she can be sometimes found at Musical Chairs also!

We saw her and Bert at musical chairs last Thursday. They appeared to be just returning from being out and about somewhere, but Alice and the Hatter interacted some with them and I think they took picts with a few people in the group. My girls had already invited themselves (drug over their own chairs when the Mad Hatter appeared and were sitting waiting for the pianist to arrive) and we afriad to leave their seats to go meet them.

I thought they do something in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle - at least they did during the summer...

Mary and Bert are often with the DL Band. Either by the floral Mickey when you enter the park and often by the castle. I think I see them each time I go but you do have to watch for them and they do walk fast.

Mary Poppins and Bert are rather interesting at Disneyland Park - sometimes they stay at a Main Street storefront for a meet & greet, but other at times they walk about. You may seem them in the Entrance Show, but they probably will be "just visiting". The pair also has been known to take a stroll in Fantasyland. They have been in a castle show with the Pearly Band (not the one with the the fuzzies), but since it was/is never publicized, you can't even be sure if or when this is happening.

They were just wandering around the back of FL when I saw them. Having a nice stroll during (I think) the morning time.
Had to shake Bert's hand of course...

Some of Her basic schedule is:

9:00-10:00 She will come out from the right tunnel to the entrance and stroll out the other side, then across the plaza. This may or may not be at the same time as the band entrance show.

Late morning: Leave the cast entrance to the right of the Tomorrowland entrance and stroll Fantasyland using the path between the Matterhorn and the bathrooms.

One or two performances with the Purley Band in front of the castle (Photo).
2:00 yesterday. A few minutes before the show, she and Bert will go the the Carnation Plaza Gardens to wait for their que. After the show they will exit to the Plaza and will briefly meet with guests.

Often they will be at the Coke Corner before Musical Chairs with the Hatter. They stay put and do a meet and greet next to the piano.

At Parade time they ride the Carrousel Horses.

Check with City Hall. Then catch her during her morning stroll at the entrance and ask her where she will be. Mary is very nice and will be glad to meet with you later.

Last year in October around 10am we saw Mary and Bert in the area outside Sleeping Beauty Castle and they did several music numbers and it was a great fun time. There was also a little girl all dressed up like Mary Poppins and it was darling seeing them all interact together. I hope we can see something like this again.

We just saw her yesterday! DD was going crazy over Cinderella who was on the side path of the castle, the left side, and we saw Mary come out from somewhere and stroll right in front of us! I think it was about noon?
