Mary Poppins Meal - What are my best options for seeing her in Jolly Holiday oufit?

In August we did the CRT breakfast and Mary Poppins was there in the Jolly Holiday outfit. I have the CRT reserved again for our trip in May, but when I called to confirm it today, they told me that Mary Poppins is absolutely not there at all anymore. They said that she is only at 1900 Park Fair. When we went to 1900 Park Fair last year she was there but in the black nanny outfit. The girl insisted that Mary Poppins only wears the Jolly Holiday outfit to 1900 Park Fair.

My dd was Mary Poppins in the Jolly Holliday dress for Halloween last year (I held my breath the whole day-lol) and she is soooo looking forward to getting her picture taken with Mary Poppins in that dress. It also definately not a dress I can let her wear around the park hoping to run into Mary Poppins.

Can anyone who has attended these meals recently tell me what they have seen in regards to Mary Poppins?

We mert Mary Poppins at 1900 Park Fare but she was in her nanny outfit. It seeme that I have read on these boards that she is sometimes in Epcot's World Showcase in England in her Jolly Holiday outfit. We also saw her in the MGM parade with Bert on the corousel horses, but there were no photo opprtunities that I know of afterward. I hope you can find her!

I saw her two years ago in Epcot England, in Jolly Holiday outfit, we ate at PSB and she wasnt there at that time - we ate at CRT last year and she wasnt there -

it can be disappointng trying to find a character - and Mary does "pop" up at some Princess meals, but I dont think she's been in the Princess line at Toontown...

I would try finding out at Epcot Guest services if or when she's scheduled to do a meet and greet there..

I was told she at Norway Askerus I think it is called for Princess Storybook dining. I think it was breakfast, but I would ask to make sure. I would let DD wear the outfit, well usually my DD would insist and since it's Disney I wouldn't care unless it was very hot out. As pp said you can usually find out there location and times from a CM at Epcot.

That's interesting. We've seen Mary at several meals & UK, but always in the J.H. dress. We'll have to check UK next time to see if she's in her nanny dress.

I have only seen her in the J.H. outfit. Did not know she even wore her nanny outfit in the parks. I must say that the one we met in Epcot is just beautiful (not the same one in the picture above). We met her in England and again later that week when the park opened. She was on the bus. I was quite giddy when I got to meet her. One of my favorites.

Mary Poppins tends to be a substitute at the Princess meals, but not a regular. I was under the impression that she actually was a regular at CRT, but perhaps that changed when they changed things around recently. I know she is at 1900 Park Fare, but when I went last, she was in her nanny outfit (which I thought was cool since I had only seen her in her Jolly Holiday dress before that). She may wear her fancy dress at Park Fare on weekends though, but I'm not certain.

up until my nov 05 trip i had never seen mp in nanny outfit. I have seen her at crt, psb, behind castle and in toy shop in England all in j.h outfit

We saw her at 1900 Park Fare on Christmas day and she was in her Jolly Holiday dress.

Thanks for all the responses. I have tried to cover my bases by booking 1900 Park Fair for Mon and Tues breakfast, already have CRT for Thursday and then booked Norway for Friday. I figure we will call 1900 Park Fair Mon and Tuesday morning before we go to see what she is wearing. If not the JH outfit then I will just cancel. I just need to get her once in the outfit and then we can cancel the rest of the meals for the week.

This is one area where Disney disappoints me. I know these things aren't guaranteed, but I hate anything that may disappoint my "baby". Seeing Mary Poppins is all she talks about. It will work out somehow.

We have also only seen her in the Jolly Holiday dress. We've seen her at CRT qutie a few times in it as well as PSB and in MK & MGM with Bert and the penguins. I wasn't aware she appeared in her nanny outfit. I'd like to see her in it.

We saw her this past December in the UK kidscot area. This was the first time we ever saw her in her "nanny" outfit. We've seen her tons of times before (even in the UK) and she always had the J.H. outfit on... always at the meals--CRT, PSB & 1900 Pk Fare breakfast.

Head to Epcot on the first day and you will likely find her at the UK in the JH dress. Ask the character handler at the back of the toy shop in UK (where pooh and friends appear) when and where MP will appear and what she will be wearing. My experience in October 05, December 05 and February 06 was the holiday outfit. Yes, my dd is a HUGE Mary fan!! We got lucky the first time and happend upon her with no line, looked for her the 2nd and third time and still no lines!!

We have also seen her in the MK at Cinderella's carosel (with Burt) and at the entrance to MGM in the JH dress. Again just ask at guest relations, on the left after entering at MGM and at City hall in MK, also on the left.

If you can find her in UK on the first day then you can choose which character meal is best to relax and enjoy it with your dd and cancel the others so other princess can have a princess breakfast, lunch or dinner as well.

As much as we Love Mary in our family and hope your dd gets her wish, I can't help thinking of the ADR's you are holding just in case while others are posting that they can't get one??

saw her in england/epcot and she was in her nanny outfit (of course i had to go find my pics to be sure!) in both Jan '06 and Aug '05 but was in her JH outfit at 1900 PF breakfast...

i guess it's hit/miss...

When I called yesterday and booked the other ADR's there was plenty of availability at 1900 Park Fair and in Norway. CRT of course is a whole other story, but we have had those ADR's since November and they are prepaid for. I doubt if we'll cancel that one.
