Mary Jo, have you heard or seen Lollipop's Mom since the first day?

It must have been tough with the rain and all when they first arrived but today we are blessed with some really bright, sunny weather. Just wondering how their trip is going...

I haven't talked to her -- I'm picking her up on Sunday (if everything works out), & we're going to Santa Monica & see the beach sights.

The first day they got here, despite the fact that they must've been so tired, you could see the enthusiasm for their trip - they weren't going to let the rain ... er ... dampen their day. I'm so glad that they're getting sun, too. They're going to Hollywood on Friday, so they've got all of today and tomorrow to play in the land. I think Lollipop's mom's only real big disappointment was missing out on Fantasmic, but there was nothing they could do.

Very cool! Well, when you see her, tell her that I hope her trip is going well. BTW, I think MissMulan mentioned it in another thread but that's awfully nice of you to meet up with her. Maybe you should be a greeter for all first-timers!

Just wanted to add how great it was of your to meet up with lollipop's mom. Its so nice and refreshing to see someone go out of their way and above and beyond to help someone else out.

<font color=navy>I have had the pleasure of meeting both JudyfromBoise and Tink33 here. JudyfromBoise is the very first DISer that I got the courage to meet. Her family was visiting, & my kids & I went to DL to meet her -- we had so much fun with her family that we went back the next day (it was her dd's b-day that day). I will always remember riding Space Mountain & holding my hands up (the only way to ride a rollercoaster!), and Judy grabbed my hand from the seat behind me -- we sped through, listening to that awesome soundtrack & screaming our way through -- it was a blast!!

I will also remember the first time I met Tink33, too. OMgosh - I think it was back in '01 that first time. And we've met up with some fantastic DISers since then. I even run into her when we go see a movie in Downtown Disney on occasion.

We went on the DL Mystery Tour together back in November - that was really cool.

so do you mods get special treatment at DL? like do you get invited to their private parties or media parties?? i worked in tourism a long time ago and when toontown opened, we were invited for a private party. that party was for the media & celebs. it was great. i still have my pass from that night.

mary jo, i think it's great what you are doing...being a mod here, having a family, & whatever else you do outside these forums. to meet dis'ers from out of town is way too cool......you are respected by me!
