Mary Jane Crocs sizing question

My first pair just arrived today- and I'm not so sure I have the right size. When I printed the Croc sizing guide out from crocs.com, my foot landed right at the line between 6 and 7, so I ordered 7s. I know crocs are supposed to be kinda loose, but my feet slide front to back a bit while walking. The heel strap just barely touches, and is quite loose, as is the strap above my foot. I have tried on a pair of 6s in a store, but my little pinky toe would touch the inside. Though after reading online, maybe the six would be better if I just stretched the heel strap??

So those of you with Mary Janes- how do yours fit? Should I keep the 7s or get the 6s? What's your experience with them?

Thanks!

I don't like them to fit as loosely as the Crocs guidelines say they should. I buy them to fit like a normal shoe, and I have never had a problem. But a lot of people swear they feel better and fit better when they are loose (to the point that the insides of the shoes do not touch your foot).

I would wear them around the house for a while, and try the next size smaller and wear them around the house for a while. You'll be able to tell which feel best for you.

I usually wear a 6.5 and so I ordered a 7 because they don't come in half sizes. They drive me crazy! They just don't fit or feel good at all.

i have found that i cant order crocs. they need to be tried on. every single style they make is a different fit. which is completely annoying. a 6 should be a 6. but its not.

I have MJ Crocs in size 8. Normally, I am wearing a 7 or 7 1/2. The 7 in the MJ was way to tight. The 8 a little looser than I am used to, but very comfortable for walking. My foot doesn't seem to slide forward or anything.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that can't seem to find an "easy, good fit." I think I may do what Normangirls suggested, and buy yet another pair just to see which ones to send back. I just can't get a good feel when I go to the store!!

imthatgirl- ITA- you shouldn't have to "adjust" this much based on the brand! :rolleyes2

I wear a 7 in everything not Crocs. My Croc Mary Janes are a size 6, and they fit pretty well.

Put them in the dry for a bit and then wear them for 1 hour. They are supposed to mold to your feet. I got this off the website(I think).
