As previously reported, the older run of Marvel Netflix shows would be leaving the streaming service at the end of February. The Walt Disney Company has now confirmed where the shows would end up, now that the character and streaming rights have returned to Disney. All five of the previous Marvel Netflix shows will now be coming to Disney+ starting March 16.
That wasn’t the only part of today’s landmark announcement by Disney. The streaming service is going to add updated parental control to the U.S. version of the app as well to coincide with the launch of the previous Marvel Netflix shows later this month.
This will include Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher. Additionally, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will also be joining the Disney+ lineup.
With the new parental controls, all U.S. subscribers will be able to set up the service using enhanced content ratings and PIN Protection. The new Parental Controls in the U.S. will prompt all subscribers to update their settings.
