Has anyone stayed recently at Marriott's Village d'lle-de-France. I was wondering if they have shuttles to the parks. The Marriott website says they do not have a shuttle, but from an old trip report posted in Oct 2006 the family used a shuttle. If there is no shuttle is there a bus which close by to take ?

We went in November 2006 and there was a shuttle bus then but the times were very restricted and we found that annoying. Fortunately we had hired a car and ended up driving there each day which was much easier. I think you can hire their private shuttle bus but I'm not sure how much this costs. You could ring them as they always have someone on the desk who can speak English: they have been very helpful when I've phoned in the past.

Have a look at this : http://www.buspeps.fr/HorairesFuturs/ligne57-34.pdf

The 57 bus goes to Disney (via the Radisson) & back. It is the free shuttle bus. You can also use the 34 bus which goes from Disney to Val d'Europe shopping centre. It is much more frequent, costs 1.50 euro per adult & stops at the entrance to Marriott. We used it one evening because there was a stampede for the 57 bus! We stayed there May 2008, so if you have any further questions, just ask. I wrote a trip report. You can read it at :

Thanks for the information and the link to the trip report, we usually rent a car except for travelling in Europe. We find the drivers are too aggresive. No offence to anyone we understand. Is better to rent a car when we get to the villas to travel between DLP and the resort ?

We have stayed a number of times and almost always got by using only the free shuttles :goodvibes .I don't think I would bother with hiring a car.

I thought the free shuttles were more than adequate leaving every 30 mins from about 8am until 10pm. The 34 bus arrives every 10 mins in the morning and 20/30 mins in the afternoon, handy to have the timetable incase you miss the free shuttle. :goodvibes

We will be staying again at the Marriott Village. Thank you for posting the shuttle options.
