I've stayed at MCH twice and toured/visited the GV a couple of times. They're both great resorts. The GV is newer and larger. It is a little fancier and has a big golf component. The MCH is still a good size resort but is more family oriented with the activities and the resort setup. I have no problem letting my 11 year old go around the MCH resort and do the many things they offer because of the way it is set up and the size. They both are in great locations. You can't lose with either.
I have never been to CH, but we stayed in a one bedroom in 2001 at GV and it was wonderful! Beautiful grounds, rooms, pool, everything. If we ever stay offsite again, we will stay there in a heartbeat! Close to everything!
I too am looking for some info. Our initial offer in the mail was for Grande Vista, but when I called they said either GV or Cypress Harbour. The saleslady said that CH was better for families. However, the pictures of GV sure look nice.
I booked Grande Vista but, I was curious about Cypress Harbour. We got a great deal at Grande Vista. 1400 square feet 2 bed 2 bath villa. I wanted to stay on property but, this was definetly cheaper & it looks very nice.
Did you get the offer to sit through the timeshare or are you just booking regularly. The 2 br they offered me was for 399 for 4 nights. It was an offer through Continental airlines because you also get 7500 continental miles
We got the same price but, we added two more nights (they were pricey $250 each. But, because I am a marriott rewards member I got additional money off. Compared to what the disney hotels cost it seems like a good deal and a much larger villa.
